i happened to really enjoy the movie [maybe because it was the first time in like 2 years i've been to an actual theatre to watch a movie =P]. it didn't follow the game as much as i was probably expecting, but they put the game into a more realistic situation rather than following it play-by-play.

the only thing i would complain about was i wish there was more parkour-type elements since that was a huge part of the game.

Entirely different than any of the games, they kept a lot of neat elements. Some of the cutting was to fast and better angles and stuff coulda been used, but it had great entertainment value as it is.

It had a fair bit of humour to myself, so +

It was alright. Nice thing to do on a lazy Sunday night.. plus I didn't have to pay for it. tongue

One thing I liked about the movie was how the writers kept using the characters to their fullest. What I mean is.. in a lot of movies, a lot of minor characters are simply cast aside never to be heard from again. But in this one, they keep coming back when you least suspect it, maximizing their role in the plot and giving them way more depth.

The story was alright, and some of the character designs were neat.

Overall, it wasn't a very fascinating, different, or epic movie that you would remember for a long time. But it was an ok passtime. (It might help that I never played the games, so I don't really have anything to compare it to and be dissappointed XP)

The boring plot, frantically annoying cinematography, pitiful acting paired with uninspired dialog; all this and more equates to a tumult of bogus filmmaking. The movie reflects nothing more than another Hollywood-factory produced piece of don't waste your time lameness.
