I am...a scorpio, not what you would expect, multi-faceted, a total musichead, a supporter
of local music, for legalization,a mistake making, guilt-ridden, regretful human,a woman,
a student, a friend, intuitive (getting worse by the second), a listener (usally followed
by retention and my own opinion), trustworthy, overly trusting, honest (sometimes
brutally), generous, a partier (although, small gatherings are my favorite because of the
lack of drama), and I’m pretty sure I’m here for a reason...
My best general advice...
Never forget your firsts, never have a last, and make sure you learn
something from everything between. Regrets will remain, but at least you got something out
of it, and it wasn’t a waste of time.
*Timothy Stephen Burlette had the eyes of an angel, the heart of a child, and was probably
the best friend I ever had, and I passed up so many opportunities to show him how much I
appreciated him when he came by on my bad days, and when he came to me when he needed me
the most. I’ll miss him forever, and I’m going to kick him in the face when I see him
again-then I’ll tell him that I’m sorry that he had to leave this life to find out how I
really felt about him and how much he meant to me and everybody else that he ever held a
second in time with. It wasn’t supposed to be him, and me and the universe need to have a
long talk about the reasons why someone’s time comes so inconveniently and abruptly-I got
to say goodbye this time, but we had barely begun to live-I walked across that stage and
accepted my diploma on behalf of the brilliant soul that didn’t get to accompany me on
graduation day as planned.
Also, remember and often remind yourself that if provoked, karma
bites...hard.
Remember yesterday, live today, love today, hope for tomorrow.
