Bio:	I cannot write of an ocean whose beauty I’ve never seen, whose blue-green body my soft, dark hands have never touched. and so at night, when I dream of us as lovers. leaving deep footprints in wet sand, holding hands under a lavender moon, as thunderous waves crash delicate beaches… I must confess, I am dreaming the words of a thousand poets, more wise than I, in the delicate presences of a glorious sea. but, I could speak of love as the trunk of the tallest tree, solid, her powerful branches bending slowly, bearing the weight of honesty and time, growing quietly among shadows, in a grove of naivety and peace. but alas, our fickle youth will always indulge, in the salty smell of sand castles and lost youth, rushing ways and moonlight tides, summer love and seventeen. all but ignoring the graciousness of the most glorious of the living. and in its shadow of green and purity, the tree sheds her majesty in several shades of wisdom, through seasons of the past. she remains.
