THE MAN BEHIND THE NAME
STATIXXX
Two words to describe this DJ
“Immense Energy”
As a child, StatixXx grew up in many parts of the world such as St. Lucia, New
York, and now Ontario just to name a few. A long history in music gave this man an edge
in the electronic scene.
Working in many different clubs and bars over a period of 10 years as a DJ / MC allowed
this man to tuck away any shy and timid feelings and unleashed the high energy driven DJ
who will devastate any dance floor that stands before him!
StatixXx stumbled on the Electronic scene and instantly fell in love. Again
traveling all over the globe, he continued to learn about what he was getting himself into
and his love only grew stronger day by day.
Soon after StatixXx laid down his first record and knew this was the path he was
looking for. Within only a few months he had bought himself tables and began his
collection of high energy music. While playing the basement of an after party, he was
approached by the owners of Jitter Jaw Productions, who then proceeded to book
StatixXx for his first live event. From his first event StatixXx has since
blown away every crowd he’s had the privilege to play for, leaving no stone unturned!
For the past 3 years StatixXx has dropped sets at many house parties, clubs, and
underground events! He was the first place winner of “Survivor”, The Northern Ontario Up
and Coming DJ Contest held in Sudbury Ontario, which he won only 6 months into playing.
He has also played alongside many well known local and Headlining DJ’s such as: Josh
the Funky 1 / S4 / Freaky Flow / Kamikaze / Decepticon / FX / Impact / Elycit /
Mischief / Unabomber / Rex Manning / Lady Bass / Jaxx / Avro / Navigator / Ingognico
StatixXx has always been known for his first love, “TRANCE”, and although he would
never turn away he knew that there was much more out there that could help him fill his
thirst for other styles of music. It was then he started his collection and understanding
of House Music, deriving his influences from such Dj’s as, Bryan Cox, The Beat
Freakers & Josh the Funky 1.
StatixXx will bring not only a sick set filled with intense high energy music,
flawless mixing, but as well he brings such a positive and happy energetic vibe wherever
he goes that makes it impossible to stand still!
