Profile Change...
So I have experienced alot that life has to offer. Gone through school and living at home,
im in college now and there is an interesting change in everything. You begin to notice
those who have not yet been changed, and those who are far more ahead of you. You notice
it in the halls and even in peoples looks. They know, just as you do, that life is now
different. You are all grown up. You look back upon the pointless things you did that were
a result of immaturity and hope that you never do them again only to realize that a year
from now, you will say the same thing. Your past relationships are a rediculous effort to
grace loves true essence and truly feel connected to someone you thought you loved so
much. Hard work for minimum wage jobs are merely the beginning of a lifetime of labor.
Your school is no longer an institution teaching you arbitrary concepts and information.
It is the fetal stage of your growing career and now cheating in classes, only cheats
yourself. This is what I now thing I know, and what I believe is yet to come.
I now write this to say that I am stuck in between these two realities. I dont know what
will happen or how it will all end. What I do know is I am unhappy and what life is, and I
am scourged by the loneliness that has gripped my heart. The more I am fake to myself, the
more it hurts inside and the more I try to get by it all, the more I cheat myself. John
Mayer calls it a quarterlife crisis and this very well may be so. I turn to those who I
call friends and family who I can count on. My words do not come from someone you would
expect to see on TV for doing something stupid or violent. I am just as normal as you (if
there is such a thing as normalcy).
If you are caught between two worlds and just need someone to talk to, I am in a stage
where I will actually listen, not just wait for my turn to speak and say something clever.
