Ok, so enough of the silly stuff. I'm getting old, and I decided to update this thing
after 3 years  .
I live in Michigan. I'm really happy that the hardcore scene is starting to build back up
a bit here. I love breakbeat hardcore, happy hardcore, jungle, drum and bass, electro
house, hard house, freeform (  )... let's just say almost anything electronic.
I started out in the scene in 2002, so I missed a lot of the awesome old school parties,
but the ones I've been to in the past 7 1/2 years have been nothing short of amazing. My
first party was in Chicago, and it was called "Stardust 3." The venue was
enormous - 55,000 sq. ft and there were almost 6000 people there. Nothing has come close
to that, but I think I prefer a more intimate venue anyway. And so far I think Toronto is
my favorite place to party - Canada has the best people! I've made a lot of great
friends along the way, and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
I'm currently going to school for radiologic technology (x-rays, sonograms, CAT scans and
the like). I'm in my first semester back after changing majors from Nursing - I discovered
that the sight of blood makes me pass out, so Nursing just isn't for me.
I love to sing and dance, whether there's music going or not - I always have some music in
my head. I'm a horrible artist, but I've taken writing back up after a very long hiatus. I
speak, read, and write French - I used to be fluent, but I'm really rusty since I haven't
used it much in the past 10 years or so. And I'm thinking of taking Japanese next semester
as well. I also paint ceramics when the mood strikes me (and I have the cash for it), as
well as making hemp jewelry. Oh, and I looooooooooove cooking for people, so if you're
ever in the Detroit area and need a place to eat, hit me up, and I'll probably be down
with cooking you a nice homemade meal from scratch (right down to the chocolate chip
cookies!  )
