Bio:	~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DRUM 'n BASS FEEDS MY SOUL ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Born in Lithuania, grew up in Toronto and Buffalo,NY...now I made to it my final destination: Seattle ♥ ::BREAKING BEATS AND CONNECTING MELODIES LIKE A MUSICAL PUNCTUATION MARK:: Born into a musically inclined family, Hyph-En was surrounded by music from a very young age. Lithuanian born, Toronto raised, she surrounded herself with plenty of electronic music until she moved across the border to Buffalo,NY where she had limited access to the music she loved. She picked up her first pair of turntables in ’99 and began her own musical journey into the world of breakbeats. She established herself in the breakbeat scene in Buffalo until she began attending university which unfortunately limited her time and funds to keep up with her vinyl addiction, leading her to set her turntables aside for three years…until now. After the long musical hiatus, she moved to Seattle in 2006 where she began craving that bass induced rush once again. She picked up her decks where she left off, only to go full force into the drum and bass scene where she always had an underlying love and curiosity for. Hyph-En has played for world renown artists such as Kill the Noise, Treasure Fingers, Whizard, Annalyze, Dylan Rhymes, Deekline, The Autobots, DJ Fixx, Baby Anne, and held a residency at Qoöl in Seattle. Her sound ranges anywhere from liquid to dark and dirty drum ‘n bass. As long as there are sick rolling basslines, she’s all for it. Keep your ears open because you won’t want to miss what this lady has to throw down and rinse out!
