NEW PRE-RELEASE OUT!!
I'm releasing it to PR early, cause I know so many of you have been waiting and wanting a
new mix from me, so why not
I'll still be burning it to hand out at Bounce 3 (Canada Day), but I want my closest
friends to have first dibs (and hopefully get some feedback

)
There's a lot of quick mixing, but I'm decently happy with how it turned out. And if I
keep trying to make it better, I'll never get it done.
So here it is ....

I've always been really bad at this whole profiling myself business. But I'll see how it
goes

FYI:
I know I probably shouldn't be jumping the guns here, but it's just nice to know that I'm
at least being considered for these spots, if they don't pan out, it's okay. But it gives
me something to drive towards.
Also, I'm putting them up because, I want ppl to know that I'm not just some newb steppin
out, I've got what it takes. Many ppl how told me so already. Give me the chance, and I
won't let you down.
*Update*
FYI ... I don't use Virtual DJ any more, as I have a pair of Pioneer CDJ 800MKII's
I really don't have much of a life a side from work, but that's changing (and a lot
quicker then I thought it would). When I'm not at work or out with friends, you'll
probably find me sittin here at the computer chattin away, or workin on a new mix. I've
been practicing (on cdj's) since the beginning of april, and on virtual dj for 3 years
now, and I have been told I'm really good at what I do. So I'm workin extra hard now, to
fulfill one of my dreams and be up on the stage, playin for all of you. Practice makes
(almost) perfect, and determination breeds success!
When I can, I love going on random rave excursions, which I definitely need to get back
into, hopefully on a monthly or more then monthly basis

. But I guess this is what
happens when you get older ... ewww to getting older
>> A Little More In Depth <<
WORK:
I'm a CNC Laser Operator at a factory called Advanced MetalTech in Guelph. I've been doing
this job for nearly a year now and I love it. I work the night shift 7pm-7am mon-wed, and
4:30-8:30pm on thurs, and have fridays off (every week). I work by myself, which can get
boring and a little lonely at times, but there are so many perks to being completely in
control of what I do over the course of the shift, and every night is another challenge in
one way or another.
I make a pretty decent wage there, with other benefits as well, but if only I could get on
top of my bills

I'm getting better, but it's gonna take a lot of restraint on my
part. Of which at this point I'm still not very good at
RAVES:
I started raving back in 98/99, I think. The scene has changed a bit over the years, but
it still has the vibe I love so much. If you were ever in Guelph for Techno Invasion back
in 99, you know what I mean. I love (Happy) Hardcore, it's just so... well ME. The
uplifting rhythms seem to melt right through me. I love raving and I hope to be raving for
a long long time to come.
I love meeting new faces and catching up with old ones I haven't seen in a while (probably
since the last party

)
DIGITAL DJ'in
I started out using Virtual DJ (with the Pioneer 700 Blue Skin), I've tried other
programs, but I always came home to this.
When I started I was using tracks I had acquired from friends or stream ripped. But for
the last year and a half I've been buying as much as I can off IMOdownload.com. I've
picked up some vinyl along the way, and ripped it so I can at least play it.
now I have my CDJ's, and they are awesome, I love playing on them, and most times it takes
a lot to keep me off
Digital-DJ'ing is still what I do, in the form of cd's, but as for Virtual DJ, I now
understand why it is looked down upon so much by the dj community. But I'll say this much,
it really helped me to subconsciously learn the music, and so everything just kinda comes
naturally to me now.
Thank you to those who have allowed me time to practice on their equipment when I come
over. In the short amount of time that I have, I feel I've come a long way.
I love putting together mixes and handing them out at parties, when I can afford the
little (or not so little) extra. It's just my way of giving back to the community.
I wouldn't exactly call my Virtual DJ mixes demo's, more just listening enjoyment. But you
can definitely count anything I do from now on as a demo. As always, for either, I still
appreciate any kind of feedback and criticism.
From now on I won't be making any more on virtual DJ, but I'll still host them on my site.
If anyone wants, they can download them from there. Now that I've had more experience on
decks and such, Virtual DJ just doesn't even come close to appealing to me anymore.
