Russell DiVincenzo, 19, aka. DJ Fat Spliff has been musically talented his whole life. At
the age of 11 he started beating on the drums. Just 3 years later he was playing in punk
bands, opening for touring acts from all over the globe. This was just the beginning.
In 2003 Russ found a new musically attraction, Drum & Bass / Jungle. From the moment it
was encountered he knew this was his calling, immediately picking up the turntables and
beginning his goal of becoming a mix master! Three years later he teamed up with MC Hoova
and introduced Proper Sounds Entertainment to the Toronto nightlife scene, putting on 7
phenomenal events in their year run.
Currently Russ is a co-owner of two event production companies, Proper Sounds and T-Unit
Productions, and the owner of an internet radio station, Sound Solution Radio. 2008, watch
out for tracks produced by Fat Spliff along with collaborations with other Toronto based
producers.
