Todd Best aka Dj Biss, started into the electronic scene in 2004 by helping out
with, and supporting Boom Night Club’s Sunday Open Turntables Events. With the help
and
guidance of his friends Jordan (Locomotive) and Kevin (Heavy Kevy), Biss began cutting
his
teeth with his new love of turntablism and the grimy sounds of Drum and Bass/Jungle.

By mid summer of 2005 Todd was well underway into the world of electronic music. Boom
Night Club in Fredericton N.B., was the best spot to show off Dj Biss’s talent and
he
began playing at N.B. parties. Once he had a firm reputation as Fredericton’s Grimey
D&B
Junkie, he moved on to bigger things.


Music has always been a huge part of Dj Biss’ life through his passion for metal,
punk and
other hardcore genres of music. He also plays the guitar, bass guitar, and the drums.

In the year of 06 - 07, Biss moved from his home of Fredericton New Brunswick and moved on
even bigger changes in Toronto, Ontario. Canada’s biggest rave scene and where Drum
n Bass is at the Massive! playing a few events and meeting endless big name producers and
Deejays from around the globe. After Toronto Biss moved to the beautiful city of Montreal
where he brought his love for drum n bass to try and learn new styles from all over. By
visiting friends in Montreal (Jordan and Rebecca) he met people, so knew a good amount of
deejays and already have made good friends.

Now residing back in Freddy Beach, Biss’ opportunities are endless and he is
ecstatic to
be able to throw down down those dirty tracks that his fellow East Coasters know and
love.

{Biss say}
"I have a passion for fast-paced beats.. there is something about it that gives me
energy and motivation. Music has always been a huge part of my life, so for me, this is
like a therapeutic release."

Biss now also has a Hosts and Deejays on a weekly radio show on Techno.fm longside his
partner DJ Fokus called Max DnB Radio.
