out of the 2 Enslaved albums I own, Blodhelm and Monumension, this one takes the cake....

with golden icing, and Armed c4 explosives.

it sounds good on the first listen, but the more you listen to it, the more you like it. I cannot stress how much this album grows on you.
The guitar and vocals are masterful, and they really do capture that "Cosmic Black metal" thing they always try to do in their other albums. This is one of the best albums I own, its aggressive, yet ambient. it has zing.. fling.. everything.

its up there with Drudkh's "Blood in our Wells", if i might compare some of the axe tones.
