excellent cd.....it's probably the first pop cd I have bought in awhile and all the tracks were good...I really enjoyed it a lot, the songs are so danceable, and fun to listen too!!

this gets one star from me solely because of Timbaland's great production on a couple of the tracks (that stupid bringing sexy back song is NOT one of them, the beat sucks too).
he can make anyone sound good. Try putting these songs over a 2nd rate producer's beats and see how good they sound

This album is so much better than his first Solo album..
(was not an nsync fan AT ALL and only liked a few songs on his first album)
And as far as someone saying he probably couldn't perform these songs lives, you are soooo wrong..... I've seen him perform at least 4 of these songs in live performances, and they were pretty damn good.

I personally don't like the album.
I know that this probably isn't the placeto say it based on all the other reviews but it just seems so non-organic... way to much synthesizers.
In other words, 'Could he perform it live?'
I'm not doubting him as an artist because, really, who the hell am I? I don't have any cd's out.
maybe I'm just old fashioned but I would much prefer to hear him sing rather than all the electronic garbage whipped together to 'sound neat'.

I fell in love with this album, the only songs I'm not too fond of are 'Damn Girl' and 'Sexy Back.' Too repetitive for my taste, but the rest.. ugh  So nice to sing along to, and Justin's voice is well shown.

So far the songs that I have heard from this album have definatly caught my ear, and I've gradually grown to love.
Good beats, erotic lyrics, and a little bit for everyone.

2006 has been an interesting year in the reakm of music. It seems that the things are finally starting to shift, and some genuinely good records are finding their way on to the shelves. Though this feeling of doubting the validity of pop music is now beginning to be cause of personal embarassment, I never thought I'd amidt that a Justin Timberlake record is not only a record that has proven that Justin Timberlake is a musician, but it's a record that's bettered pretty much everything else ( speaking in terms of anything above ground ), including.....Oh yes... Any rock record thrown out there this year. Serious. My sincerest to Mr. Jack and The Raconteurs....I love ya Jackie, but Justin's got your number....this time.
'Futuresex/Lovesounds' is a record that has one thing going for it as opposed to any of the big guns for 2006; it's truly and utterly approachable. Yes. Unlike any major release this year, the vast majority will bop their heads to 'Sexyback', or say 'That's a helluva good beat', when they hear 'My Love', and guess what? They'll be right on the mark.
It's a ballsy thing to throw a nearly 8 minute track, plus interlude on a top forty record, it's also a ballsy thing to talk about straight out fucking and hard drug use. It's also ballsy considering that the indivdual behind this was at one time to be percieved as just a Christmas sweater wearing, mouse-eared pretty-boy. Cool eh? I know that may seem trivial to some, but when you look at the cultural implications of a record like this, considering it's source, you may look at it differently.
Timbaland does not disappoint, as he has produced a record to the point of of climax...again (yet another one...). The production and vocals work hand-in-hand, and make for a record that you're going to hear played out a plethora of clubs, not matter what part of town you find yourself in; and right now, that's especially important.
We're on the cusp of something big musically, and it's records like this, that bring us ever closer to that point.
