The Album sucks, the band sucks, they should have given up before they got this far

This Cd is so good... I didnt even hear about them until they were being interviewed by some radio station and they played some songs... and I immediatley fell in love with their music

this album sucks, so does the group, that song is horrible

If you've heard the song "Hate Me Today"...the rest of the CD is nothing like that song! Though HMT is a great song, and an awesome video, the rest of the tracks are pretty mellow! But you gotta love them...Justin Furstenfeld's voice is just so unique, soothing, completely NOT like alot of the screaming voices that you hear out there! Screaming "HATE ME TODAY...HATE ME TOMORROW..." It took me a few times (and seeing the video) to figure out what he was talking about. But now it's simple....Its a song portraying a mans selfishness in a relationship, then coming to terms with it, and admitting the mistakes.
Blue October's lyrics have true meaning. They may not make sense the first time you hear them, but if you *listen* to the words, you'll hear that there is plenty of meaning behind their words! They're words written by what one would "imagine" a man to actually feel in his heart.
They've come a long way since their first (bombed) release in 1998...so, show 'em some love and buy their music!
