Oh Rivers....

10 years ago, The Weez released a landmark album. It was called 'Pinkerton'. This record captured everything good about rock n' roll, spliced it into 10 wonderfully profound pieces of music, and made people re-think how they felt about the genre.

2 years prior to that, they relased the commerically viable, and musically legitimate 'Blue Album', which rightfully put this band on the map, turned some heads, brought back 'Happy Days' and nerdery, and made lots of very well deserved cash.

Fast forward to roughly 18 months ago, and you're left with album 5.....

Now let's jump forward to the present day.....

WEEZER IS DEAD. They died upon the offical relase of the 5th album in a symbolic sense, and made things literal a few months ago, when they called it quits for real....

After years of infighting, bizarre behaviour from Mr. Cuomo and lack of true, raw inspiration, 'Weerez' (wink) came up with 'Make Believe'....

Is this record good? Is the production up to par? Does it cause the listener to care about what is being said, and the manner in which it is being presented?

Well kids...Anything is possible if you 'Make Believe'........

...'Nuff said.

Weezer....you helped make my teenage years what they were. Now...It's time to move on....

...Mercifully, we have.
