Totally brought me to tears...
I remember reading the book in elementary school..
But it coulda been done better than what it was...
It needed more time in Tarabithia then in the life at home.

It was pretty good. I thought it was cute...I didn't find it that sad when that girl died though...the Jess kids reaction to her dying was a little sad..

Touching movie, I wish the girl hadn't of died at the end though.
It reminded me of my childhood and how I use to imagine things to be fantasy like and that I was a princess. >_>
Those were the good days.

It was identical to the book i read in what was it grade 5 or 6...
i miss that book actually and i dont think ive read a book since.. oh wait maybe one... lol...
but agree that the god part was kinda irritating.... all in all i cried and laughed.. and loved this movie!!

the scene close to the end of the movie ruined the whole thing.
when they started talking about god.
it's a childrens movie for effing sake.
religion and disney shouldn't mix.
plus there was so much product placement.
no, i would not like some juicy fruit gum.

The movie was just as sad as the book. and i loved it for all the same reasons.
One of the very few book to movie adaptations that are wonderful.
Characters are sympathetic and welll written.
A fantastic movie.

i read the book of this when i was younger. and cried.
i went to see this movie...then cried.
it really then reminded me of a fantasy version..of my girl.
yepp. it was good. though if no one read the book..the commercials are truly deceiving.
i liked it.  proves that children nowadays still can have imagination rather than sitting infront of a video game system all day.
