Just astounding. One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen.

Great, and I mean FANTASTIC animation, would have been better without the sophisticated jazzy thing they were going for.. and I found it kind of funny how the evil chickie-poo was suspiciously goth-looking. Hehehehahaha.
But yeah aside from those minor misdemeanors I enjoyed it. Neil Gaiman rocks.

Neil Gaiman is one of the best writers of today.
Dave Mckean is an INCREDIBLE artist...
...and then there is Jim Henson.
Did you honestly expect a bad movie?
This movie was fucking incredible. BEYOND perfect! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Script was awesome...graphics were awesome, acting was flawless.
Simply Beautiful

I can appreciate the beauty of this movie.....it looks INCREDIBLE in some parts.
As a piece of art, it's wonderful. And a piece of film, it sucks. It was painfully slow and boring to sit through.
Yes, movies are a form of art.....but should also be a form of entertainment, and for me, this wasn't in the least.

this is a great movie....its a surrealistic artsy movie...kinda like a cross between labrynth and alice in wonderland..
i say its a movie if you through jim henson in a tim burton world.
here's what the movie is about..
this is stolen from rotten tomatoes...(cause i can write forever)
"Helena, a fifteen-year-old girl working for her family's circus, wishes -- quite ironically -- that she could run away from the circus and join real life. Alas, her dream is not be, and Helena finds herself on a strange journey into the Dark Lands, a fantastic landscape filled with giants, monkeybirds and dangerous sphinxes. To escape the Dark Lands and return home, Helena must find the Mirrormask, an object of enormous power and ultimately her only hope."
