i didn't really know what to think when i heard they were coming out with a johnny cash film because theres just so much that he did in his lifetime but i think they did such a good job! the characters, the music, the writing.. it was all really good = )

Excellent film.
What is even more interesting is shortly after June died, Johnny followed.
It was almost as if he couldn't live without her at his side.

Any movie to do with old school musicians usually is really good to watch, especially sir Johnny Cash.
Reese Witherspoon looks good as a brunette.
And the music was fucking amazing.

badass movie very accurate and i seen them film it when i was in graceland therefore i have a special place on my shelf for it.

altho I am not a johnny cash fan at all - but holy - Joaquin definitely played him well - and Reese - OH MAN - she was awesome!!

love johnny cashs voice and lyrics.
Reese Witherspoon and Jauquin Pheonix did an amzing job playing June Carter and Johnny Cash..
not only that but they both did all their own singing!

Johnny Cash sucks. He was a boring, fucked up junkie. Some of his songs are beautiful, but his voice sounds like babies in a meat grinder. His works are only good when others cover them. The man was an asshole. The movie was annoying. Crap. Crap I tells ya.
