Hahaha will farrel...was nothing what i expected..not used to seeign him in such a serious roll..but his humor always seems to shine through.
i would be driven bloody crazy to if i had a british woman's voicefollowing me around narrating my life...

my favourite scene is when he finnaly finds here*lolz..ring ring...ring....would be too trippy to find out the book ur writing actually is commign true.

*I would have liked it if he died too tho....lolz...*

This movie would have been much better if she had killed him.

But, no.

They had to have a happy ending making this an average movie at best.

cute movie....

one of will's better and more serious roles. I liked how it ended even though it would have been way better if he had actually died because of the poetic nature.

Pretty excellent movie. Well told, well narrated and interesting. Very funny at the funny parts, very sad at the sad parts.

It was such a cute movie.. and it was trgically funny. I'd deffinitly watch it again. I love Will Ferrel. He did such a good job. And Although he was completey able to break away from his "Funny Man" Character, he did a pretty damn good job.

It was possibly the greatest movie about literature ever made. Conventions twists... plot thickening... explaination of uber narrators. It's not like any other conventional movie, the character interacts with the narrator. Thats amazing. So original. The best dark comedy I've ever seen.

It's beautiful that it didn't end with a wedding or a death. It's a masterpiece.

that kinda said it all.

Stranger than fiction was actually a really good movie. I guess I somewhat expected it to ... I dunno. Will Ferrell was playing the part totally straight and I guess what I've come to expect is the total opposite, since "Anchorman" is one of my favourite movies by him. I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was funny in it's own way not having to rely on physical humour to do the job of making the audience laugh. Either way I came out of the whole movie experience wanting to see it again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. And much like the second time I was greatly amused again and have decided that even thought it's a little offbeat, Stranger than Fiction" is definetly a movie worth watching.

Could have been way better had Will Ferrell not been in it..
Don't get me wrong, I love him.. but just not the right kind of roll for him.

Plus, the last half hour of the movie killed it.

An awsome movie, Will did a great job in this one, i had to admit i had doubts about him, but he did a great job. It's a must see, it really is, the plot will wow you. Go rent it, maybe consider buying, Stranger than fiction is a must see!

This was definitely worth the rent smile
I had no clue what this movie was about. I like Will Ferrel, and my friend said it wasn't a comedy per se, so I decided to give it a shot. It started out as me thinking it was cracked out.. but it's like a piece of writing. You need to find the meaning, and in this movie, at the end all becomes crystal clear; but you have to be open to the meaning.
It's not some stupid, comedy or cult flick that people make lunch boxes or buttons for, not in the sense that it has a message to society and has many moments of warmth and reflection.

A very well written script indeed, an odd, different kind of movie.

Fabulous movie.

watched it a could days ago was was more than pleasently suprised.
now, i was not expecting much from will farrell, mostly because i don't like him as an actor and haven't particularly liked the other movies he has been in.
but the writing of this movie was fabulous. the story line was intelligent and thought-provoking.

the plot twist at the end is hard to explain without completely ruining the movie to the people who have not been able to watch it but its wonderfully written and proves that there was some thought put into this unlike th emajority of movies coming out of hollywood today.

emma thompson never seizes to amaze, altho the casting of queen latifa was a little confusing.

all in all, this is a movie is one of those ones that everyone needs to see.
