I rented this not know what to expect.
-It's about Max Renn, a owner of a cable television channel, Civi TV. He's looking for new exotic movies he can put on. Then he embarks on a pirate video broadcast. Where their views can watch torture, murder and mutilation. And it's called Videdrome.
This is what he's been looking for to put on his channel. Only to find out that they are real, actually snuff movies. And was warned to leave it alone. But Max becomes obsessed.
He finds out that Videodrome transmission creates a brain tumor in the viewer, and that his sadomasochist girlfriend Nicki Brand is involved some how. -
I was blown away by this movie. I have to give a hand to the the Make-up crew. They really devoted themselves to this project.
Not to many known actors in this movie, due to the buget they had to work with. James Woods plays Max. And his girlfriend is played by ::heart: eborah Harry.
If you happen to run across this movie it's something you should watch. I can't wait to own it.
