Reminiscent of Dungeouns and Dragons, not quite so painful though. Had a couple of decent spots though I still wouldn't pay to rent it.

the best part of the movie was when the dragon hatched.
the rest... sucked.
highly predictable.
my boyfriend read all the books and hated the entire movie.
i read none of the books and hated the entire movie.
it was wayyy too cheesy and moved too fast.

Yes.
Leaving the theatre early..
was the greatest decision..
ever.
I could've predicted the outcome of the movie,
and I would've probably been right.
No suspense.
No thrill.
Just scene after scene about a talking dragon.
Two Thumbs Dowwwwn.

I havnt seen the movie yet but i red the book when it first came out and i read eldest and when i was finnished them around this time last year, i said they should be a movie

The special effects were impressive and the storyline was immersing(although a little bit rushed ). It is one of those movies where you have to actually be into that whole genre to appreaciate it. I can't wait for number 2

i thought it was a dam good movie it did go by fast but it had a good plot and it leaves off to where there is a part two and a lot of the action was at the end of the movie

What a cheesy rip off of much better written fantasy novels. I found this movie to move too quick with key plot points and such. It felt way too rushed. We ended up leaving early because it sucked so bad. This crap isn't even worth downloading.
