Jack black rocks.and did an another supurb acting job on a romantic comedy. I had my doubts.but he always seems to surprise me.

okay...so yeah, this is a "lovey, dovey" romantic type movie...which im sure doesn't appeal to a lot of people...and not usually to me...but i just watched it today, and i was shockingly surprised...i like how everything pieces together in a certain way...it warmed my heart, no matter how lame that sounds!

nothing too special, another one of those romantic comedy types that keep getting churned out.
but it did have it's moments, i think what made it bearable was jack black.
and if i have too look at another image of cameron 'not really that hot' diaz again... dear god!

OMG I loved this movie! It made me cry like 4 times and even though my friends would call me a wussie, I am a connoisseur of "Girl Movies"! And this was one of the best girl movies I have seen in a while. It made me laugh out loud and smile and cry and be surprised and kick my feet and giggle and it was awesome! I am also a BIG fan of happy endings and boy, this one had it! I am severely overjoyed to see a movie like this and I will be purchasing it tomorrow to watch it again! (and frankly I don't think Jude Law is all that cute, but there was definetly something about him that was intensely handsome and rugged... ) but otherwise this movie is for all those who love mushy girl movies and are hopeless romantics at heart.

I had such high hopes for this movie but found it lacking in many aspects.
I found it too wordy, and within that, the dialogue was without spark for too much of the time and could have been edited for a greater impact (like in the trailer! which is the type of stuff I thought I'd be seeing). I see what the filmmakers are trying to do depicting cameron diaz and jude law trying to talk out and vocalize what they're feeling and where they're at, but at the same time this is a hollywood blockbuster based on the glossed over happy ending formula so of course in all their rambling you know they're gonna somehow magically make it work and live happily ever after.
bottom line was... i didn't buy the story, it didn't speak to me. given the talents cast in the movie, it could have been MUCH better.

OMFG!!! best movie ever! seriously have a girls night and watch this movie. This so good i just saw it and it was great. I loved it! I cant wait for the DVD!!!
