Not the best movie in the world but kindof nice to watch if you're looking for something new.
Really makes you want to play dead rising.

Zombie movies normally give me horrible nightmares, but this one made me laugh my ass off like no other. It was just so campy and sick and wrong and awesome all at the same time. This is a movie everyone should watch, know about, and buy because it deserves it. A+

My friend Sarah describes it best: "It's like Pleasantville with zombies!"

With the same type of ignorance for political correctness, combined with zombies, some of the dialogue in Fido is so wrong, it's bloody hilarious. But as the incredulous expression stays on your face, you can't help but be touched by the affection and compassion, much it exhibited in a great performance by K'Sun Ray portraying the young boy Timmy Robinson.

Also staring in Fido is Carrie Ann Moss, better known for her role as Trinity in the Matrix Trilogy. It's refreshing to see her in a completely different role and she is every bit as excellent here as in a sci-fi action spectacular.

The 50's is a wonderful decade to recreate, clothing and furniture so distinct it's hard to go wrong when it comes to production design/art direction. In addition to that, the story's interpretation of modern advances as seen through the eyes of people of this decade and mindset are amusingly appropriate.

Canadian film is always worth supporting - especially when it's this good!
