I really liked it BUT what the hell was Dustin Hoffman doing in this movie...that character was totally miscast...might as have had Tom Cruise as the main character

I think this movie would have been really awesome if the film editors hadent totally bastardized it. The cinematograhpy was lovely, the story touching and the acting pretty sweet. However, the movie left a lot of questions unanswered and really lacked any kind of significant character development.
I'd really like to see the scenes that got edited out. I'd like to see someone with a clue relsease a different version. Overall I was dissapointed in the final product and thought a lot of talented people wasted their time with bad editors and producers that were incapable of choosing or identifying their demographic.
Not all movies are for everyone, and it totally sucks when something that could've been really good ends up being a blatant money grab that doesnt do the story justice.

The film dragged in parts but I was really impressed with Johnny Depp's accent. He didn't just do the generic Scottish accent most Hollywood actors use, but he spoke with an almost perfect Dumfriesshire accent.

Yeah, this movie made me cry too haha. I liked the idea of the story, but I didn't think it was GREAT, it's was pretty good.

I see no reason to rate Finding Neverland badly... I absolutly loved it. It had basicly was everything a drama should be and it put a whole new perspective on the story of peter pan.

How can you hate this movie.
It was sooo good. who cares about hte british actors. it may not have added 'depth' but it was still amazingly good! that little kid was adorable. and the genius behind the whole peter pan story is amazing. the fact they amde it in the times they did is wonderful to think and be inspired by.
As for Johnny Depp. He has done better, but not his worst performance!

Well, after watching Finding Neverland I've been reassured of the following:rnrnA) I still hate young British childrenrnrnB) Characters that cough at about 45 min into a movie are bound to diernrnC) I hate American actors that play British characters rnrnOn a side not there is a really creepy clown scene in this movie. I don't have a fear of clowns but it still scared the bejesus out'a mernrnIn closing this movie has made me realize that I would like to punch Johnny Deep in the face, right on the nose. rnrnthus adding his name to my "Actors To Punch In The Face List" along with, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Robin Williams, and Sandra Bullock.
