Incredible movie.
Incredible Script
Incredible Acting.
The only flaw is that they kinda repeated the same "type" of joke throughout the movie, although they were all quite good none-the-less.

Surprisingly hilarious. Can't actually remember much of it now, just that I laughed my ass off.

I saw a trailer for this movie a long time ago and said to myself "I really want to see this movie!"
If I hadn't seen the trailer, I would have never known of this movie.
I love movies that make me laugh.. It was funny and very enjoyable to watch. It wasn't a movie that would take itself too seriously..the characters were great, and while some people didn't like the narration, I thought it made the movie more personable.
I'm more into stories when a friend is telling me about it.. and that's the feel I had.
Maybe not an Oscar-winning masterpiece, but definitely worth seeing!

I'm not sure why... I really liked this movie, and the four times I watched it I've laughed every time.
I also want to find the book that this movie is based off, because I'm sure they are filled with cheesy goodness.

Robert Downey Jr.'s dark comedy/film noir adaptation with various 4th wall breaks. Entertaining as shit.
Recommened. 4 stars.

I thought it was hillarious.
I watched it on satellite one night, i hadnt even heard of it.
The girl had an uncanny resemblence to Liv Tyler in some shots, i had to look twice sometimes.
And who knew Val Kilmer could be funny?

I first saw this on the first night of the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, we were just looking for some light material to kick off the festival with, and were not prepared to take this film too seriously. Sometimes I think this is the best way to walk into every movie.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was enjoyable It was funny, sometimes slightly dark, sometimes kinda obvious, but always made me want to keep watching. It wasn’t perfect though – no, far from it.
The storytelling blended some non-linear narration with the images on screen, in keeping with the narration, the image begin as a series on non-linear scenes jumping back and forth challenging the audience to keep up but eventually fall into an orderly chain of events. The narrator here is Robert Downey Jr.’s character, who – along with Val Kilmer - rattles off dialogue at breakneck speed, and this is no different for some of the narration… leaving me with a big question mark over my head, thinking “sorry, say again?” At certain points, a scene would drag on just a little bit too long, or a joke become too played out. This created an overall sense of imbalance in the pacing of this film.
Also the plot twists were told to us rather than shown to us. Again this was through narration – showcasing yet another flaw with this decision of utilizing voice-overs. To me, telling people rather than showing is the biggest cop-out in filmmaking. Why don’t you just point this camera at me, and I read you a story instead?
Questionable use of narration, pacing, and incomprehensible dialogue flying … This is a good story gone astray in its on-screen interpretation.
