Loved it. I watched it 6 times IN A ROW, every episode over and over. I never get tired of Charmed!

Charmed, one of the WB's most popular dramas is now available for the first time on DVD. Series One of the series features around three sisters, Prue, Piper and Phoebe finding out that they are witches, coming to terms with their magical powers and learning how to fight various demons and evil being with help from their famous Book of Shadows.
Basic Plot:-
After the death of the grandma (grams) Phoebe returns from New York to move in with her two sisters, Prue and Piper, in the Haliwell manor. On her first night Phoebe ventures into the previously locked attic and discovers a book, the book of shadows. She reads an incantation inside the front cover of the book and activates the girl's magic abilities, which until then has been bound by their Grams. Upon discovering the incantation and reading it phoebe discovers that demons and evil beings are now aware of their existence and are out to kill them and take their powers for their own.
Mayhem ensues whilst the girls try to control their powers and fend off attacks from beings such as: Warlocks, Shape shifters, demon photographers and bosses from hell (literally).
The sister magical powers are :-
Prue: Has the power of telekinesis, the power of move object with her mind.
Piper: Has the power to freeze time. It is explained that she slows molecules down to a virtual stop.
Phoebe: Has the power of premonition.
In future series the girl's powers expand and they also get new ones.
The episodes are faultless, although some have fairly weak plots, but the interaction between the sisters and the series long running sub-plots make up for the loop holes nicely.
If you have never seen Charmed before this is definately worth a look. However, if you are a Charmed fan then you might be slightly disappointed with the lack of special features. This box set is not cheap and some may consider not being value for money.
When I describe this box set as having no special features, I do mean none. No commentary, bloopers, deleted scenes. This only thing that can be considered a special feature is the trailer for series two.
