Classic.
Some nice Tim Burton humor. Nothing too dark, nothing too kiddie. Michael Keaton was a perfect choice for the title role, though the "main" characters did well, too. Banana Boat scene was and will always be awesome.

Classic my ass. Beetlejuice is pretty non-sensical, not to mention uninteresting. The plot is retarded, and the characters are even worse. The only reason you could like this movie is if you have a hard-on for Tim Burton, which apparently most of the people here do.

One of the best overall soundtracks you'll ever hear in a movie.
Danny Elfman is a god with music.
Michael Keaton is the only man alive who could capture this character so well.
Katherine O'Hara plays the best mosy annoying bitch ever and she's a very under-rated actress.
I watch this movie on a monthly basis and never get sick of it and this si coming from someone who has a collection of over 800 films.

Something about Tim Burton films have a magic to them that appeals to kids, teenagers especially it seems, even adults.
This movie just rocks my socks right off. Beetlejuice is just a really funny character. The whole scheme of the movie is an interesting concept with a funny twist on it. Great stuff.

This movie is a classic Tim burton genius spawn. The mood set by lighting, effects, acting, and angles make it very interesting. The best time to watch it is during the halloween season; but can be enjoyable year round for its comedic factors. Dance sequence, a light look at death, and preserverance make Beetlejuice a sure thing for a good time. The cast is also amazing!

Such a classic, twisted movie. I love how dark Tim Burton can be and I love the characters in this movie (the flat guy who was run over, the throat-slashed chain-smoker, Beetlejuice). One of my favorites when I was a wee young lass... that might explain a lot.

Classic Tim Burton, before he got crazy weird... and Micheal Keaton rocked as the gross guy, while Winona hit it perfect as the cutest, disturbed gothic chick... if fact, both actors were at their best in this movie... the dialogue was funny, cute, scary and laughable... all great qualities for a movie I can always watch again and again...

i'd have to say that this is probably tim burton's best work and michael plays a great Beetle Juice. His corky behaviour had me running up to people on the street and grabbing my penis while impersonating a truck at the early age of 5.
The movie has touched all of our hearts, it was probably the best thing since sliced bread.
