i watched this movie cause ppl told me it was good.... that juno character never shut up.... and the other characters kept putting up with her not funny jokes and comparisons and dorky slang... everybody in that movie is a whackjob... i even think "superbad" is better than this... if you want to see a movie dont see this... those 90 odd minutes will never come back... instead you should go and buy an icecream cone...mmmmm yummy
Friday May 16, 2008 - 10:10 PM
Thursday May 15, 2008 - 7:54 PM
i thought it was little dumb
Thursday May 15, 2008 - 3:22 PM
i thought it was quirky, witty and had an edge to it that i enjoyed. characters were well defined, and i liked the dialog. the music grew on me after a while too. cute film.
Thursday May 15, 2008 - 2:51 PM
What's all the hype about? I wouldn't own it if it was given to me. Don't waste your time.
Thursday May 15, 2008 - 8:08 AM
I loved it.
It was really witty and funny... Ellen Page is amazing. Oh.. and also......
KIMYA DAWSON!

Tuesday May 06, 2008 - 1:06 AM
Lame, when this movie was done I had the same feeling that I did after seeing Transformers... all the hype for this?
Wow.
Monday May 05, 2008 - 11:21 PM
i bought it at random cause a bunch of my friends told me how cute of a movie it is. needless to say they were right and i'm more than happy to have it in my dvd collection

Monday May 05, 2008 - 2:05 AM
awesome film....I loved it
Sunday May 04, 2008 - 2:39 PM
very good movie, though Ellen Page almost seemed younger then her character on TPB's
I thought those adopted parents there was something more going on with them..they seemed more evil.
Saturday May 03, 2008 - 8:21 AM
i really enjoyed it.
and i really enjoyed the fact that Emily Perkins was in it, even though it was only for a minute.
fantastic movie.
i will definitely be watching this movie again.
Saturday May 03, 2008 - 2:28 AM
The most frusterating part is the fact that nobody asked her if she used a condem or did she even think of a condem. No one mentions a conem to her. Its the 2000's for fuck sakes and her character is obiously smart and witty. If someone said to me "I"m pregnant." what I would ask is "Didn't your where a condem?"
GRRRRR that was the only stupid thing
Otherwise the movie was prettty good other than that she spoke to intelligently for her age.

it was alright.
like to watch it with the gF
Sunday April 27, 2008 - 7:51 PM
It was a decent enough movie, not quite as good as I expected for all the hype about it.
Sunday April 27, 2008 - 6:52 PM
I watched it and thought it was decent. Jennifer Garner acting like a possessed child stealer was kinda funny. Page did a good job acting like a high-school kid.
Sunday April 27, 2008 - 2:14 PM
Saturday April 26, 2008 - 4:25 PM
Pretty good movie. Still pretty predictable.
Friday April 25, 2008 - 9:58 AM
Thursday April 24, 2008 - 11:38 PM
Just watched it, after wanting to watch it for months.
I really enjoyed it Ellen Page is awesome and the whole movie had a bunch of different emotions - sad, happy, funny but most of all it really shows the reality of life/things. Would really want to buy it and watch it 10 more times!
Thursday April 24, 2008 - 1:04 PM
some parts of it were really hit or miss.
it was trendy to a fault, i find.
some of the lingo used in the dialogue was over the top and cheesy.
but overall juno's character was great.
a little bit crude, acting too old for her age
but her naivete shows through in a lot of the movie,
especially the relationship she develops with jason batemans character.
she's what really pulled the movie together for me
the other characters were likeable but a bit bland
and the story was just a backdrop for the films larger than life star.
all in all however, decent movie that i would watch again.
Thursday April 24, 2008 - 12:32 PM
Thursday April 24, 2008 - 1:55 AM
I saw this movie 5 or so hours ago.
Even though it was cute, it was quite edgy.
Some parts made me feel weird, and others made me feel like going, "AWWW!"
I liked this movie.
Wednesday April 23, 2008 - 5:41 PM
Amazing.
I wanna be her bestest-est friend EVER.
THAT is how much she rocks.
Wednesday April 23, 2008 - 3:38 PM
I don't think I could express how much I loved this movie.
Everyone I know was hesitant because of all the hype but it's such a wonderfully written film, I was laughing AND crying.
Wednesday April 23, 2008 - 11:41 AM
Oh Juno, where to begin?
Awesome one liners, some pretty decent music, with Michael Cera AND Jason Bateman (although, not in an altogether hilarious father-son duo).
Does it get better?
Wednesday April 23, 2008 - 10:25 AM
Ellen Page is a great actress - I'm looking forward to seeing her in more movies. Great plot, great acting, definitely some funny moments. I would recommend it.
Tuesday April 22, 2008 - 10:49 PM
By far, one of the BEST movies I've seen in a very long time. It made me cry. It hit home for me so hard, I love Ellen Page in this. It is now one of my favorite movies.
Saturday April 19, 2008 - 8:37 PM
I absolutely loved the two main characters. The story was pretty boring though. Not as much of a life changing movie as I had expected from what everyone else had told me of it.
Friday April 18, 2008 - 7:05 PM
Very good movie, took me a while to see it though.....my only issue was that I expected it to be a bit funnier than it was
Thursday April 17, 2008 - 6:11 AM
Sixteen year-old Juno MacGuff is the type of girl that beats to her own drummer, and doesn't really care what others may think of her. She learns that she's pregnant from a one-time sexual encounter with her best friend, Paulie Bleeker. Juno and Paulie like each other, but don't consider themselves to be exclusive boyfriend/girlfriend let alone be ready to be a family complete with child. Although she would rather not be pregnant, Juno is fairly pragmatic about her situation. Although there, Paulie really leaves all the decisions about the baby to Juno. Initially she decides that she will have an abortion, but that's something that she ultimately cannot go through with. So she decides to have the baby and give it up for adoption. But first she has to tell her father, Mac, and stepmother, Bren, that she is pregnant. Although they would have preferred if Juno was on hard drugs or expelled from school, Mac and Bren too are pragmatic about Juno's situation. The next step is to find prospective parents for the yet unborn child. In the Pennysaver ad section, Juno finds Mark and Vanessa Loring, a yuppie couple living in the suburbs. Juno likes the Lorings, and in some respects has found who looks to be a kindred spirit in Mark, with whom she shares a love of grunge music and horror films. Vanessa is a little more uptight and is the one in the relationship seemingly most eager to have a baby. On her own choosing, Juno enters into a closed rather than open adoption contract with the Lorings - meaning she will have no contact with the baby after she gives it up. During the second and third trimesters of Juno's pregnancy which she treats with care but detachment, Juno's relationships with her family, with Paulie, and with the Lorings develop, the latter whose on the surface perfect life masks some hidden problems.
I really loved this movie it was great and junos attitude was hysterical.
Saturday April 05, 2008 - 9:43 PM
great soundtrack, great acting, great cinematography, great dialogue. the story could've been better, but oh well...

Sunday February 24, 2008 - 7:11 PM
Saturday February 23, 2008 - 8:00 PM
I enjoyed it...it was a good movie i recommend anyone to see it..
Saturday February 23, 2008 - 7:39 AM
Juno MacGuff is like some sort of hybrid between Punky Brewster and Daria Morgendorffer.
Saturday February 23, 2008 - 12:21 AM
Okay, Juno. It's an Oscar nominee for best picture. It's got tons of positive attention surrounding it. It's got Michael Cera.
So why didn't I like it?
I had heard warnings from some people who have seen it, they claimed that the movie was hipster garbage and should be skipped, but I was curious. I thought that the hype surrounding it had to be worth something more than this merit it had been given by fellow forumers. That said, I was cautious and decided to just download it rather than go buy a ticket, and maybe it's better in the theatre, I dunno. But all I can say is, I wasn't impressed.
The first thing I noticed was how ridiculously off the first bit of the movie was. The stupid dialouge, the shitty music, it was all really off putting. I'd like to say that this bad first impression stopped when the shopkeep said "This is one doodle you can't undo", but really it continued right up until the part where she's at the abortion clinic and she starts freaking out because of random noises. That to me was a bit of a push to get the plot moving, Juno really doesn't seem like the kind of character who would be bothered by something like that.
I'll admit, after the awkward first meeting, things got better. My worries about the film melted away, and drifted into a comfortable pillow of enjoyment. I was laughing when I should be, and the story was getting quite nice. I began to like the characters, and wondered what the twist would be, since there HAS to be some sort of climax.
Well, there certainly was.
It was probably the most nonsensical, random, unnecessary plot twist I've ever seen. It's not so much the twist itself, but it's the way the movie handles it that pisses me off. It forces the viewer to assume a different opinion of every character in the movie, and destroys everything that was built up to this point. This sounds pretty good, right? Well, Juno doesn't do it well enough, and it just ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth when I finished watching it.
I give Juno two stars because some of it was good, but this shit isn't Oscar worthy. Maybe what makes the movie so appealing is its handling of a sensitive topic, but as a movie, I was left unsatisfied.
Friday February 22, 2008 - 7:07 PM
Fantastic movie... except for Michael Cera. He just stands there and stammers, acting as a static plot device.
Other than that, it was fantastic. Ellen Page has fantastic delivery and had me in stitches throughout.
Heartwarming without being sickeningly sweet, this movie certainly earns all four stars I give it.

Tuesday February 19, 2008 - 6:05 PM
Ellen Page is for sure my favourite actress. Simply from her performances in Hard Candy and Juno, especially.
Some of the FUNNIEST and best quotes from Juno:
"The kids at school must be callin' you names now! Skanky? Sleazy? Tore up from the floor up?"
"Your girlfriend over there gave me the stink eye earlier today! She wasn't giving you the stink eye, that's just the way her face is!"
"Here. Have a free condom. They're boysenberry."
"Actually, I'm off sex for a while"
"My boyfriend uses these when we have intercourse. They make his junk smell like pie!"
Oh man, truly and EPIC movie.
Tuesday February 19, 2008 - 3:48 PM

great date movie. =)
Saturday February 16, 2008 - 6:29 PM
It's worked it's way from a 1 star rating to a 2 star rating for me... finally.
I was constantly underwhelmed.
It felt a little over-hyped.
I probably shouldn't have listened to reviews prior, it tends to sour movies for me.
I think I expected more.
And what irks me is that even though I recognize that Ellen Page has great talent, these last two movies I've seen her in hasn't really made me like her characters.
I would blame the directors but I loved "Thank You For Smoking", so I don't really understand why I dion't like Juno.
I wish I could like it more lol.
Friday February 15, 2008 - 3:56 PM
It was like an edgy family movie. And like with most family-feel-good-movies, I was tired of it by the end.
Its definitely very cute, and has some good jokes in it.
But over rated.
Friday February 15, 2008 - 3:54 PM
Very funny and heart warming. A fun watch and a good time. The music was a little weird but that was my only comlaint.

Friday February 01, 2008 - 8:46 PM
I usually hate going to the movies, but I made an effort for this one. I laughed so hard because she uses phrases like my group of friends and I would use, hehe. The dialog really makes this movie, you don't really see witty writing like that nowadays.
Friday February 01, 2008 - 12:06 PM
This movie is amazing.
"Thanks a heap, coyote ugly. This cactus-gram stings even worse than your abandonment."
Like really, how do they come up with things like that?

Wednesday January 30, 2008 - 9:28 AM
absolutely incredible. good sountrack too.
Tuesday January 29, 2008 - 10:04 PM
The only part that bugged me was when her friend said "Swear to blog?", it was the only part that felt forced.
The rest of the movie was adorable.
I loved the characters, I loved the outcome, I LOVE the moldy peaches.
"I'm gonna punch that bleaker kid in the weiner"
The "i'm still in if you are" made the tears LEAP out of my eyes.
Good movie. I'm glad I saw it in theaters

5/5 - the creators of the movie didnt go overboard with the comedy to make it ridiculous. The star was really awesome, and really made the movie excel.
"little pink plus sign is so unholy" - hah, original.
Saturday January 05, 2008 - 12:12 PM

definitely a must see!
Saturday December 29, 2007 - 2:59 PM
Im not sure if i would call it a romantic comedy but it did have hints of romance i guess....fucking hillarious.best movie ive seen in a while and its great to see that girl in more movies shes awesome.
I only wish that they had given micheal cera a BIT of a different char. it was if he was playing george michael with a teeny tiny twist.
Thursday December 27, 2007 - 1:32 AM
Starring Ellen Page and Michael Cera.
This movie is from the creaters of Superbad and Knocked Up, but didn't make me laugh the same why I was laughing during the other two.
It was different, and like most Cera scenes it seemed damn awkward and hilarious, where Page was basically straight forward and said what was on her mind. Great movie!
