Here's something to ponder. I have been a Coca Cola fan 4 many years and was interested in Coca Cola Blak when it came out as I enjoy energy drinks. I personally like the taste and it gives you a little bit of a jump like a coffee. I like it better then Red Bull as I find that shit makes my heart feel like it's going to fast. Also, Coca Cola Blak is like half the cost of a Red Bull. Who's to say if it will last as a product very long but for the meantime it's an alternative to various other products on the market and an interesting business venture for the Coca Cola company.

Holy shit, coffee grounds and flat Coke, where the fuck do I sign up? Seriously, what's next? An energy drink incorporating the wholesome goodness of egg nog?
This is clearly not an energy drink, at least not by my standards, but it's placed on the shelf next to all the canned beverages crammed full of taurine and ginseng. We have France to thank for this pretentious fucking bullshit. Apparently in France they're treated to the same style and size cans in which you would find a Red Bull, but for the average trendy limp-wristed fop over here in the contiguous, the packaging is a bottle. It's a glass bottle with a plastic fucking cap. I'm highly surprised the French of all people don't realize how fucking tacky that is.
The very notion of carbonated coffee in even the slightest degree is absurd and likely to induce vomiting in anyone who has even the greatest love for each style of drink in its own separate regard. Coca-Cola will still taste like you should be using it to remove graffiti in spite of the various flavors with which it will be paired up, but plain coffee is just a horrid choice, especially with the myriad brands and flavors of coffee on the market. You'd think they'd at least consider flavors like mocha or almond given the notion that they're trying to appeal to the coffee drinking crowd.

i have to say im not a fan of coke, and it really doesnt surprise me that they added a coffee flavoured drink to the many others they had, so...out of curiousity i saw the interseting bottle, and i was like...humm
so i payed whatever the amount it was...i dont recall, and i tried it...
the taste was an interesting one to bet...not great, but not bad...certainly not thirst quenching...but...an aquired taste as many have said...i might even buy another one...but just one...to remember it....that is all

Well, they went ahead and tried it anyway.
I had to give it a shot to see just how bad the stuff is.
I braced myself for the worse, but, it's not as bad as it could have been. But, it's by far from good.
It has a taste between cold coffee, Carmel, Coca-Cola, and a hint of vanilla It's not a very refreshing drink. Actually I think I'm starting to get a headache. But that could be due to the drinks from last night.

My review would be biased however because I am already anti-cola & anti-artificial sweeteners.
Out of curiousity, I did try it however, especially since upon first sip my bf mentioned that it tasted like coffee.
I  the flavour of coffee.
For what it is, coffee cola flavoured drink, it is what it is.
I would not buy it for my own reasons, but I'm sure there would be a market for it.
I did notice that bottle was rather thick, therefore giving the illusion that there was more liquid in it.

I was walking down the street and got handed a sample bottle of coca cola's latest offering "Coca Cola Blak", on the bottle it says 'carbonated fusion beverage' but one has to look on the list of ingredients (or just dive right in and take a gulp) to find out that it's fused with coffee.
The taste is a combination of sickly sweet coffee with the cola flavour more evident in the aftertaste. It is definitely an acquired taste and perhaps not meant to be consumed in large quantities seeing that it's fancily packaged in a 237 ml glass bottle? Has anyone purchased a bottle of this drink? I'm curious about price and value.
I also found it peculiar that it contained both sugar and aspartame. The drink's taste did, however, become more tolerate after some of the carbonation had gotten out of it...maybe I'm supposed to sip it like coffee?
