I was with my friend, nd we were like "lets make flaming Sambucca" haha...well...so we totally forgot about when ppl light it on fire they light a coffee bean on fire then put it in...well we lit the lquor on my porch..set the whole fucking shot glass of it on fire...nd we tossed it nd the shot glass blew up like a little mini bomb..hahaha

alot of people hate it, I grew up with it as part of my culture
so im used to the taste, and i like it...
Traditionally you toss a coffe bean in the shot and light the shot on fire. everyone says "salute!" and drinks

Ouzo is better, but still kind of gross.
If you want something that tastes like anise, try Galliano. Its much more versatile, too... if you mix galliano with something with an orange flavour, it changes from an anise taste to a banana taste....

It tastes like black licorice....but for an alcohol I'd say that's pretty damn good. Better than it tasting like Rubbing Alcohol.
It's alright when it's mixed with certain other drinks...but I prefer the plain shot. It's a good way to "start" off the night.

first off let me start by saying that Sambuca desirves 10 stars not just 5. I have been drinking it ever since a little age.
There is 2 ways to drink it in my eyes and they are:
-Take a tall glass and fill it with ice. then fill it to the brim with the sambuca and drink it through a straw.
-Take a tall glass and fill it with ice. then put in some Sambuca and fill up the rest of the glass with "Diet pop". The Diet pop is the key to making this drink tasty because of all the extra aspartame!

Sambuca tastes like a piece of licorice cummed out its ass into a bottle of turpentine shit! swizzled it around with a nasty stick put a little bit of pukey into it .. then shot it through my septic tank out through a mold filled piping system back into that piece of licorices ass up through its intestines .. and then that silly fuckin piece of licorice puked into a mud puddle and then bottled that shit back up .... willing to drink it now????

This stuff is worse than Goldschalger. Its thick super sweet and tastes like black liquorice. The one time I got drunk on it I had a hangover from hell that I still remember almost a decade later. I wouldn't drink this if someone bought me a free shot of it or if there were nothing else around. If I want black liquorice taste I'll go with Ouzo at least it doesnt taste like it's half sugar syrup.

this is truly a drink that has always been there for me!
If you like licorice, you will love sambuca... it is basically like licorice, but it's liquid and it has 38% alcohol (and its not black if you don't want it to be)!
Why sambuca is so great:
1. you can set it on fire
2. you can set it on fire in your mouth
3. you can drink it on ice
4. people wont ask you to have some of your drink because... well, a lot of people hate it.
5. you can rely on it to get you drunk
6. it's a happy drink
so raise your glasses to the glorious drink!
