Being from Nova Scotia and having the stuff there, it's bloody fantastic. Depending where you are and which pub/establishment you hit up, the tastes vary subtly. If you're a beer person and you enjoy a good clean-tasting ale, you're in for a treat.

Wait... i should clarify.
Keith's is labelled as an IPA (India Pale Ale) when in fact, it is not. It's actually a pilsner/ale. Technically speaking, Keith's advertising it as IPA is false advertising. Either way, Keith's used to be a really good beer, until Labatt's took over operations. Now all it is, is Blue relabeled as something else. If you want good stuff, look elsewhere - this one is not it.

tastes fine. thats it. clean taste, easy drinking, inoffensive, lowest common denominator "lets appeal to as wide a market segment as possible" beer. no character, no real dominant flavours that might turn people off, thin mouthfeel. not much to it but it doesn't taste bad.
very middle of the road.
not heavy enough or bitter enough for my taste, but drinkable.

The only canadian brew i hate more than labatt blue.
Moosehead is better neufie beer.
Keith's is way too bitter in the aftertaste for my palette.

A good beer, with a good taste, great from the bottle, even better on tap. It's a few dollars more, but I only buy it when it's on sale at the beer store, or in pints at Drifters in poco.

Subpar for a premium. Even when fresh this beer seems to have that lingering skunky taste that is associated with UV light damage.
A suitable alternative would be Rickards Pale Ale.

I would definitely have to say that Keiths in one of my favorite beers. It's one that I can drink anywhere and enjoy. It's also great with dinner, or in a pitcher, or even just in bottles at home.
