it is delicious but i rather have it homemade.

now for the so called vegans. its called a food chain for a reason. i respect your decisions but don't go and push it on others like some kind of nazi. aminals eat other aminals, & humans are aminals. its shit like this that makes me shake my head at this site.

know your facts. please dont go off and say killing aminals is wrong for food, or that meat is bad. jsut be informed about what your eating. you can eat meat and be safe. it wont kill you.

Last time I checked this was reserved for reviews and not for preaching your beliefs....

Anyways, I had this turkey one year when some shit went down and we couldn't prepare a regular turkey, and it was amazing!

I think it is wrong to kill for food when you don't need to. I think it is even worse that companies make it sooo easy to completely ignore the fact that you are eating something that was a living animal by taking out all of the work behind cleaning the meat before you can eat it.

I don't think anyone should eat meat unless they are willing, capable, and active in killing their own animals, cleaning, and cooking them for themselves.

Not to mention the factory farms in which these turkies are raised. They live in piles of shit crammed in with other turkies, have their beaks cut off with clippers, and then are cauterized to prevent infection... this is done so they don't attempt to kill each other due to being cramped in so closely. Disease is rampant (ever hear of Avian Flu? Factory farming is the reason why it exists...), and they are fed a lovely blend of poor quality grains, carcases from 'discarded' birds and chicks, and a cheap source of fibre such as newspaper.

If you're going to eat the shit, kill your own, or at least buy it from a family farm that treats the animals with a little respect and dignity before slaughtering them!

It's great for a small gathering when making a turkey would be wasteful or too much trouble. And yes it makes excellent left-over sandwhiches.

This is a *delicious* fabulous product… I cooked it for my first Thanksgiving and it was so easy! 4.5 hours to roast in the oven and without any bones, slicing is a breeze. It was so tender and juicy, not a dry spot anywhere… it’s stuffed with home-style stuffing that tastes great… makes for delicious sandwiches afterwards too… only about $18.00 and it fed 4 people with a ¼ for leftovers… so ya, don’t be afraid of making a turkey when you’ve got this product!
