One of the most overrated beers in the world, and at the same time, also the most popular beer internationally (higher than Budweiser). I think it tastes fairly bland and there are better beers for the price you pay.

I find myself at a stand srtill on this beer. Sometimes you can pick up a case of these puppies and thier amazing. They taste great and refresh you as well as any other beer, if not better.
On the other hand. Sometimes I can open up a heineken and all I can taste is an ash tray. I know it sounds wierd but if you have ever accidently drank a beer that someone has ashed in you might just understand.
In conclusion with the stronge yet smooth taste of heineken can be a blessing as well as a curse.

you might want to remember jos, that other people then you do get to exercise their opinions as well...and their taste buds might differ a bit from yours.
anyways, that being said...tasty beer, maybe a bit salty....but it's enjoyable...from the glass or from the bottle.
there certainly are better beers out there for the price though.

overrated brew also overpriced drinkable ice cold but in any other condition has a overpowering bitter taste no real depth in flavor lacks body is on par with cheap domestic brews at best but costs 3 times as much.

i give it a one for suck. ive tasted better beer, for cheaper.
its overpriced and tastes like it was brewed in fucking canada, which is a bad thing for a beer, excepting alexander keiths india pale.
the only people who actually enjoy it are minors that see the heinekin commercial and revere it as probably being the best beer because thats what un-beer-cultured folk hold it up to being, which is just retarted
i recommend grolsch over heinekin, and go try something new you lousy closed minded idiots! THERES SO MANY AWESOME KINDS OF BEER AVAILABLE AT THE BEER STORE! take price and popularity out of the equation

i recently got a 5 litre keg of the stuff. but it didn't come with any tapping hardware. it was the last one in the store so they couldn't give me another one.
anguish has never been better described. i ended up finding a way to get the beer out and it truly is the best way have heineken. it stays fresh for 30 days, but mines gone in a week.
if you like this beer try the keg, its worth it.

It's a well made beer but I never did like the taste. It was way too hoppy for my taste. I also always got a wicked hangover from Heineken when I drank it exclusively.

One of the best European beers that meets all requirements to be a great beer. Not my favourite for the only fact its expensive everywhere. You can get better tasting Euro Beire without spending the extra 3 dollars. Try Dab or Bavaria (Holland).
