was a bit difficult to get into, this was the first book i'd read of King's. but, once i got past his writing style, i became so engrossed. in this volume the journey was almost endless, all in the pursuit of the Dark Tower and The Man in Black, and there were losses along the the way. but, it ended with a glance into the infinity that is all the possiblities of the universe, and of all universes. a great start to an awesome series
