it is a chronicle of the 1960's 'hippie movement' that effectively tied together all of the cultural icons of that era, Haight-Ashbury, LSD, Grass, Ginsburg, Kerouac, Leary, The Grateful Dead, Hell's Angels and even a bit of the Beatles. They go on a bus trip across the USA that Ken Kesey's day glow-colored Merry Pranksters took in 1964.

They thre huge parties with light shows and introduced people to the "LSD experiment" and much more.

This book is nicely written from a non active member of the merry pranksters so Its what I would say a pretty accurate account of what really happened.

If you are into the Beat Culture, The Hippie movement or just into reading a good and exciting book this book is perfect.
