unfortunatly i didnt go to the party as im not in the country right now but a) im sure it was hectic and b) theres way too much hating in this review. firstly, the bouncers can do whatever the fuck they want and if you dont like it then bounce, they trying to make sure noones dying in their club. secondly all of us have had to wait outside a party for more than an hour at one time or another, get over it, if it was possible to get you in you wouldv got in. as for skibba flopping...who gives a fuck, he rips the same lyrics everytime he comes which is every two months. dont get me wrong i like the man but if you wanna hear what he was gunna spit just download "phat mc'ing" over shy fx and there you go. *takes deep breath* other than that i hope everyone had a good time, benny page is one of the best producers/dj,s in the game and he aint in toronto nearly enough..big up future sound always laying down the best parties.

fuckin wicked party! "apparently" 50,000 peoplebut i dunno bout that. bigup any other true heads who came down from toronto, we still in new york till tommoro, everyone played wicked sets, especially immortal technique, talib kweli/mos def, and obviously the mighty wu! not sayin rage, or cypress hill or any other of the headliners didnt tear it, just those are the sets that stood out to me. it was raining for tiiiiiiiiiiime, everyone was soaked for the 10 hours we were there and by the end thefield was one big mud pool. copped chronic a few times and lemme tell you american weed smells nasty and dont get you high

sick jam, wasnt too concerned bout the poor turnout, more space for the true heads. was scared for a second that crissy criss, kenny ken, and skibba had all flopped when they hadnt shown their faces by 315, but turned out to be all gravy. reduced was sposed to be 25 but ended up 30, and the doors didnt even open till close to 11, but other than that no complaints. lets see what contact can do with chase and status..

sick jam, fuckin bullshit that shy fx flopped, that pissed me off enuff. krust and clipz both murked it tho, as well as influx, sick venue, but destiny fucked up again sayin there would be a shuttle bus leaving at 6, but there was no bus, so everyone was forced to take 70 dolla cab rides back into the city. cant complain about the vibes in the jam though, bumpin party. not many people had even noticed that shy fx didnt spin. obviously visionary dropped some sick choons, and big up camp soljah who were kickin flows on the smoking patio all night.

things started looking bad when flexi n flak werent on by 1130, then got worse with grooverider acting like a fucking baby, trying to walk off in the middle of the set, i understand how SHIT the sound quality was, but when your reaching a next country to perform a set you dont disrespect the crowd by cutting the choons and threatening to walk off, you gotta make do. fatman and eksy did the best job they could have, really gettin into the vibes, profile b2b nicky was set of the night.
good people tho hence the 3 stars.
