What if everyday you relived your own murder? This Indie horror left me feeling absolutly ecstatically happy. Every day starts with Claire waking up and reliving her murder over and over, but each day she learns more and more about what is going on. At the end of the movie everything is made clear, a sort of "ah ha" moment, where the viewer will jump up and scream "oh my god, that is fucking amazing"...or at least I did. After watching the movie a second time, I picked up on clues and little details that I missed the first time.

MIA deals with issues often overlooked in American society. The movie focuses on Vietnam veterans and their struggle to make peace with a past that haunts them. Unable to rejoin society, or perhaps damned by a society that turns its back on the people who fought for them, these vets learn how to heal, how to forgive, and how to "follow the raven into the dark, to find the light". The scenery is beautiful, filmed in British Columbia.
