Only one word can describe this WEMF; GHETTO!
The venue was pretty horrible and the sound at the dnb stage was pretty bad for the most part. Pendulum's set was the best set on Friday and thats all that was pretty much worth seeing on Friday as the sound for everyone else's set was too low and could barely be heard. The music ending at 2:30am on Friday also was bullshit, this was definitley the most quietest WEMF i've ever been too.

Saturday during the day, wandering the Renegade Stages was pretty fun. Some of the stages had better sound than the Main Room. Checked out mixmastermix, he was good, but u couldn't really dance to his set. Icey was alright, but he cleared out the room as breaks usually do at WEMF. He should have been on in the early morning and not at night when people want to bruck out. Mampi played the worse set I've ever heard him play, mostly because of sound issues as the MC's were also contastly yelling for the sound engineer to fix up. Also checked out Mstrkrft and loved their set. Definitely the best set of Saturday for me. Danced to Marcus and mystical's set and they did not disapoint, much better than any of the healiners on Saturday.

This was probably the worse WEMF i've been too in terms of venue and music, but I still had a good time cuz I was wicked friends and the vibe overall was pretty good and friendly. Lets hope next year has a better venue.

Now that was a proper rave!
The docks looked amazing. The decorations were nice and they had a sick lighting system which is usually lacking at big partys.
The sound was the best its ever been at the docks in recent times, but that being said, its wasn't that great =/
SS set was alright, not the greatest, but it wasn't that bad either. Tali's mic didn't even work for most of SS's set, so it was pretty much a waste of her time to have her mc with him. I liked Goldie's set for the most part. He played alot of tunes that u don't normally hear out and represented the metalheadz sounds pretty well i thought. Set of the night for me though was Red One. I was really digging the tunes he was dropping and his mixes.....definately got me going on the dance floor. And Tali also mc'd a bit for his set and I thought she was pretty good.....her voice wasn't over powering the tunes which happens ALOT with most other mc's.
I also thought the vibe was really good at this party. I didn't feel like it was all that sketchy and the all ages crowd didn't bother me one bit.....i actually quite enjoy all ages partys. A lot of people were also dressed up and in the halloween spirit.....got alot of complements on my costume (alex from a clockwork orange) and lots of people just having a great time and dancing up a storm. Definately one the better partys in the past couple months.

This party gets a big gigantic MEH from me. The mainrooms sound was pretty shitty, nicky blackmarket's set was not all that great, SAS need to STFU, and then craming all the junglists in that tiny room when anabolic frolic came on was just retarded. That being said, I had an alright time mainly cuz I have wicked friends and I still got my dance on for a bit. The dnb tunes played in the liberation lounge for the little time I was there were sick though.

Its a good, fun movie and it will probably become a "rave classic", but the way they portray the E high is so not the way it is. Anyone who has never done E before and watches this movie will totally get the wrong idea of what it is like.

Not my most favorite AFI album, but its still really good. They have changed their sound alot from when they first started, but in a really good way. They are still one of the few bands that are putting out interesting rock/punk music that is different from what is in the mainstream, which is what makes them such a great band. The album definatlely has a dark retro 80's feel to it. I love it and want to see them live. I Davey Havok

I love this album!
Best Green Day album since Dookie. Every song is great....the music is top notch and Billy Joe's lyrics are the best they've ever been on this album. Definately one of the top 10 albums of last year. And if your even remotely a fan of Green Day, go see them live. They will blow you the fuck away!
