This movie is looooong.

But if you can sit through it, you will be rewarded with subtle twists and turns of emotional direction. It's very well done adaptation of the famous epic. I really quite enjoyed it.

The movie was just as sad as the book. and i loved it for all the same reasons.

One of the very few book to movie adaptations that are wonderful.

Characters are sympathetic and welll written.

A fantastic movie.

Children of Men was an alright movie. Nothing entirely thought provoking but definately entertaining. It is definately NOT the Bladerunner for our generation as it is toted to be. However, I did like it a lot. It was pretty interesting.

Unbreakable

Bruce Willis as a real-life hero. As if there hasn't been enough movies with that premise. Still, Unbreakable delivers an interesting story with excellent character development. Featuring Samual L. Jackson, it's hard to go wrong. This is a pretty good film, the trademarked Shyamalan twist is highly predictable and the final words of the movie really diminish the film as a whole, but it's a deep, dark and interesting ride to the end.

I stumbled on this movie about 2 years ago, while surfing through the indie movie channel. It looked interesting so i gave it a watch. This is one fan-fucking-tastic movie. I really loved it. The acting was so ridiculously amazing. I recomend this to anyone, anywhere. Great movie.

Much better than The Da Vinci Code. This book is actually slightly entertaining. Brown's writing is somewhat flacid, but he's not so inept that it ruins the story. A great book to read if you find in the bargain pile with every Dean Koontz book ever written. Other than that, it's barely worth picking up.

A movie about a fallen prince becoming an evil king and the Knight and Dragon that stop him. One of my favourite fantasy adventure movies. Great CG. The acting is questionable, but it always in in fantasy films.

Grime vs Garage

Grime is really, really inconsistent. It would seem the all of the Grime i actually like, technically falls into garage and speed garage. Lady Sov, Dizzee Rascal...thats about it really.rnrnBut then most of the stuff that i can't place in a genre, and as a result lump into the grime category, is pretty terrible. Virus Syndicate, Akala(more garage then grime, i guess, but still shitty), Crazy Titch, Skepta(obviously is easier to find shit grime then it is to find good grime, if it exists at all).rnrnAfter listening to a whole slew of different artists and styles i can basically say this, Grime is everything that is absolutely shit about Ghetto-tech, combined with everything that is absolutely shit about UK hip-hop. They mash it all up and throw in some sound-effects from '70s cartoons and push it onto the masses of england, and boy do they eat it up. However, every once in awhile one or two good artists actually make it through and aren't discredited by shitty production or forced label conformity(So far, as i can tell, it's only been two).rnrnGrime, essentially, is recycled, rehashed, bargain-bin, chavfed garage with a side order of simple and boring lyricism, terrible video direction, and even worse production.rnrnBig up the Garage. Fuck Grime.
