I really must admit this movie was pretty good, I've been quite leary of new movies that have been coming out... I've watch too movies that have let me down in so many ways and it's been rather disappointing.

I have to say that "Big Nothing" has a pretty excellent story, the would be good guys pushed to the edge, resort to becoming criminals in a last ditch effort to get rich quick, and all the bumps and skids on the way to getting away with it.

Simon Pegg plays an American guy which was really intresting to see, David Schwimmer was pretty good... I don't think I'll ever be able to think of him as anyone other the Ross from friends, but that character suited to role so I was ok with that.

Story was good, good acting, interesting way of putting together the film (you'll know what I mean when you watch it), actually might buy this one... and that's saying a lot.

This is one of the best television shows that I've ever seen, the acting is freaking great, the characters are so lovable, and the story line is so perfect it's almost like your watching a cartoon with real people.

If you have any brain cells left in your head, you'll watch this bloody show you bloody wankers!

To be fair Justin Long did a pretty excellent job, I was surprised to see the fact that he has stepped up his acting a bit. I'm quite glad to say that this movie was everything I expected, and it doesn't even seem that there was 12 years in between 3 and 4.... Willis gets right back into character, which is pretty awesome...

I love the fact that they really did tamper with the basic story line of the film, and I think that for the 4 installment they did a fucking amazing job... because when movies start going longer then 2, then tend to fucking suck.

I think any person that likes action movies should bloody well see this movie.

Is it just me or does West Craven have a thing for crazy mutants raping people? I mean... really?

I'm still not sure where I stand on this movie, it was pretty much exactly how I expected once I found out the basic story line for the film. It was nice that there was killing right from the start, and the movie moved a pretty good pace.

The reason I'm only going to give it 4 stars is for the ending (lame), the fact that Craven's (yes two of them wrote it) found it needed to add another disgusting rape scene, and... well... I'm probably looking alot deeper into this then I should, but what the hell...

There is a guy in the movie that reminds me way to much of Sloth form the Goonies... You can't miss him, similar blue shirt (not superman thankfully), and freaking suspenders... once you the see the movie, you won't be able to deny the fact that he looks too much like sloth...

Just finished watching it, I have to admit I liked it a lot. It started to lose me near the middle, but it actually takes a pretty awesome twist near the end and turns into a pure action type movie.

I have to admit... I wasn't expecting so many bloody scenes... very well done.

Although it almost seemed like they dropped too many Shaun of the Dead Quotes/moments into the film, but I suppose since Edgar and Simon are now wildly known because of the film... they might as well have milked it.

NNY I have a feeling your looking too much into it, I have a hard time believing that Eli Roth wanted to raise awareness of how SICK people are in this world. The news does a good enough job of that already, I have a feeling he just wanted to make a movie... because torture, blood, guts, and basically anything that has coming out in the name of 'horror' recently has been like this... it makes him money and I'm sure he's happy about that.

So you should shut up... also... did Tarantino actually fucking direct this? Because he PRODUCED the other one...

Hostel was crap, so I don't expect this one to be better... I'll rent it, just to see how crappy it is. The first one was a huge let down because well, I've seen much worse.

I've seen this movie so many times it's not funny, not really because it's just that amazing of a movie... but because I had it on my computer long before the DVD came out, and everyone at my school wanted to watch it.

I'm don't really care about the subtitles, and after seeing it so many times well... I have to say that I don't really need to read them anymore.

I'm really amazed how dark this movie was, and I loved every second of it.

The best thing about this movie is that since it came out, people who rent it from my blockbuster call in and say "Hey wait... this movie is in Spanish!" Fucking Sheep....

I love the broken lizard crew, they are so funny.

I still haven't decided if I like beerfest or super troopers more. I really love the intro to this movie, it's freaking great... from the minute it starts it has you wanted to be a crazy wacky highway cop.

I have to admit that the movie was interesting, it wasn't one of my favourite movies. I had heard so much about it before I watched it... and it was in a dark basement after three days of partying at WEMF so I hardly remember it... but from what I do, it just seemed o.k...

That Acid part was pretty interesting...

Did anyone else notice that most of the greek guys sounded more like they were irish?

Still a very good movie, happy I went and saw it before it came out on DVD. Visually stunning.

Also they kept saying there was 300 of them near the end, and I know for a fact that there wasn't lol

I have to say that it wasn't one of my favourite movies, but I found the whole concept pretty interesting. We've all had the feeling at one time or another that we want power over time, we either don't have enough of it, or we want it to move faster.

I think it's because I could relate to him, I saw how my life might be turning out... with the fact that if I want to move forward in my career I have to work extra hard, I've always had problems with balancing my time correctly...

Over all it wasn't that bad of a movie...

This movie was shit... There are three main reasons....

A) I'm sick of fucking kids coming in saying this is a horror movie... it's not a horror movie... because good horror movies have taste (unless they are b-rate)

B) I'm fucking sick of people telling me Quentin Tarantino directed this... he threw money at it... nothing more.

C) If you wanted me to care about people dieing in the film you wouldn't make them stupid... pointless... and a freaking waste of life, to be honest I was happy when they died...

And they are making a number 2...

It makes me smile that only one idiot has said this movie was amazing happy

I agree with Rob, there are plenty of other movies that should have the "best picture" dealy... and let me tell you "Departed" is not one of them... YOU CAN'T WIN BEST PICTURE IF IT'S ALREADY BEEN MADE!!! best director for sure, but not best picture!

Ahem...

This movie was really well thought out, I think the reason I liked it most is because even though the family was so disfunctional they worked together. The best part in the whole movie, is when they stop for ice cream...

I'm not rating this... just because of all the stupidity I have read from other people that posted on here.... but I'm sure if you have a picture of Hunter in your profile and I've seen it... I've commented on the fact that this book is what he is best known for, which makes anyone that knows nothing of his other work... big fucking posers.

That would be related too the movie, and not the book... which I find to be quite interesting, and shows the power of Hunter's writing.
