so yeah major backup rave!
missioning from smile to embryon was indeed a tale and a half but as we got there it was intense 5dolalr entry ( i said to myself "its a sketchfest behind that curtain" but i was wrong which made my night even better.
amazing music-haven't been to a solid hardcore rave in awhile.
fuck that happy shit (nah just playing i loves me some happy hardcore)

I'd definitely have to say that embryon was absolutely AMAZING.
At first my night was turning out horrible, but we got there and it was awesome, the people were nice, music was bomb, the cover was so low, and i still only payed 5$ even though it was after 11, which was greatly appreciated. and also the fact we were allowed to go in and out of the place, was even better.
overall a great night, hope for more to come!

This has the awesome feature of only existing because everyone was thrown in to a situation and sort of had to band together. Man, I felt so *with* everyone this night.
I've been to the Concord before for Dan Fournier; I had no idea they'd ever host an improntu lost-ravers backup party. I'm not sure the owners were expecting it either--I know the one old woman was kind of worried about people sneaking off to the bathrooms to have sex. But other than that the staff were completely awesome, (they didn't ID me!), they just trusted us to live and we did.
I showed up after 23h and they still just told me 5$ which was a.. nice change for once, compared to some other places that try and start jacking the price as soon as they can get away with.
The broken beer bottle was mildly dangerous, but I made sure it got swept up (though I had to poke the overbusy bartender to come do it twice before he got to it).
And turtlefuck was the music HARD

First off, I have a tiny complaint that should probably be noted:
There were too many people with open beers on the dancefloor, about three hours in I got spilled on by two different people, and even after I told the first guy to stop he kept doing it. I reeked of beer for a while and I needed to go to the washroom and clean up.
And I remember last time at HOH6, someone dropped a bottle right next to the stage, and the entire room reeked of beer.
There /are/ some of us who rather dislike the smell, maybe there should be a no open drink on the dancefloor policy? I'm just saying...
On to the rave:
Embryon kicked my ass once again.
I was definitely not prepared for the level of awesomeness I experienced.
God DAMN I still hurt, two days later.
Everyone who played was completely tearing it up, making my entire insides shake due to bass.

I was rediculously blown away by your set, as I've never really given your sets a listen before, now I will... With a VENGEANCE.
Deztro absolutely killed it. I was exhausted from B7, exT, and that other guys set (whose name slips my mind), I don't think I ever sat down to catch my breath more than three times those entire three hours, and then Deztro came on, and I just hung my head and prayed that I didn't pass out. (Which I did after his set, outside, LOL)
MULTIPLE thanks to everyone who showed up from smile, I was looking forward to smile as well. My heartfelt condolences to Goodfellaz. I'm so glad y'all can appreciate terrorcore as much as I can. But I warned you didn't I? I told you not to wear yourselves out too fast, BUT OH NO NO ONE LISTENS TO ENSO.
Just kidding, I'm glad you had fun!

This party was bomb.
Nice to see some cool venue staff, fairly clean washrooms, and just an overall good vibe.
I appreciated the ins and outs muchly, not to mention the low cover.
No sketchy anything. Fantastic. We need more of these.

Fantastic.
That's what I'm talking about. A rave that's thrown for people to have a good time, instead being stuck up and trying to rake in as much cash as possible.
You've got a cover that's practically a steal, the freedom to go outside if you're feeling sick or just for a smoke, and one of the friendliest crews I've ever met.
Keep it up, seriously.

Killer night!!! Good atmosphere!!! Fun people 
Don Ritchie started off the night very well. Tons of good tracks and he got the crowd going nuts early. The MC's did a great job too!!!
My man B7: dark as always! Started off techno-y and glitchy and then went uptempo which I dont hear him do that often. wicked ass set...
EXt on the decks, guaranteed energy!!! Newstyle hardcore from the highest levels, amazing how he kept the crowd going and going and going ...
Then Razor edge, what can I say? Nothing compares to him, he is so unique just doing his thing. Its a miracle the speakers didnt blow on him. Different stuff but VERY good. No wonder he plays in Europe a lot
I was next on the decks and I was satisfied with my set. Fortunately, the crowd seemed to like it as well so my night was good.
And my man Flim (who didnt bug me with the fog machine this time THANK YOU!!!) was there, last but not least. Unfortunately I had to miss his set due to some personal issues.
What a night! Man, I needed that!!!
Special props go out to the Embryon crew who helped out (Grant, Courtney, Kevin), Enso, Isabel and Don Ritchie, Yana and friends. Thanx for a great night!!!!!
