What a fuckin' party last night. Busy P & Justice were rockin' the place hard. At the end of Busy P's set ... he let it slip that Justice was filming a DVD and the place went off.
Justice new live set is sick, very similar styles to Daft Punk at times, but they also kept some originality. Much better than their Dj sets. The crowd was fairly crazy. A mix between a mosh pit, bitches gettin wild, and a tiny bit of dancing stuffed into the sold out Sound Academy (docks). Lots of people smoking weed straight up, so that was a relief when I was blazin.
Honestly, that show left me jacked, and I have been working tunes since I left. Tried a new setup with all my gear last night after the show, and it is helping to inspire a more sampled sound for live performance. I can't get over people singing WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS !
The worst part of the night HANDS DOWN was trying to leave afterward, because EVERYONE coat-checked. So it was insane, so many near fights broke out numerous times. Totally ridiculous.
The whole show as a little too packed for my liking, but what can you expect at the docks. Put that aside, and it was a blast.
