I agree with Shlee..
You should never pull a dj off the stage like that.
It's pretty much bullshit.
Although, at least you still paid him.

I know I'll never step foot in that club again.
First time, and the last time.
Way too sketchy, totally different atmosphere.. and not in a good way.
Didn't enjoy it.
The bartenders are bitches, and as a bartender myself.. thats not in anyway how to treat patrons.
I left half way through The Happy Mediums.
(Not because I don't like you guys, I just didn't want to be there)

Shank did a good job, as always.
Gabbo and Spedfrek were good as well, though apparently something was going on with the sound before their set started?

the dj should have been allowed to finish his set.


and when that dj was pulled, a group of drinkers left.

so it was a loss either way.

the lineup was posted

there was a flyer posted as well

never before in the years i have been partying have i witnessed a dj being pulled because some people did not like what they were playing.

not impressed at all.

yeh.. agreed. however.. i think promoters need to re-evaluate the lineups they book at a "club" on a THURSDAY no less..

if a dj is scaring away "drinkers" with their abrasive beats.. clubs will pull u. ask Patrick DSP about his last appearance at System Soundbar..

RAVE music shuld be left at RAVES..

apologies to anyone who may have been insulted by the move.. it was in o way an attack on any one person.. several dj's that night got the early cut becuz the night was NOT booked according to BLAK/THURSDAY standards..

it wont happen again.

The rave itself was kind of crappy, but the people I was with made it all better. I'd say in total with staff working there, there were TOPS 65 people there. >_>
Whatever, had a great time anyways. and security weren't such assholes this time V_V

I guess another reason why like NO ONE was there was because only SpedFrek's friends came, really.

don't forget dudes, no rinsehouse next week as there's a special event going on at Blak on Thursday (which you should still check out if you're looking for something to do anyway!)

we'll be back in 2 weeks with another slammin' event
watch out for a VERY special rinsehouse the first week in april, as we'll be bringing back a great headliner favourite from the good ol' U.S. of A., as well as the Tdot debut of a killer Montreal DJ
