First off, only because it was a major concern, Blak was FREEZING cold all night, with open doors and a minimal crowd - but the BEATS WERE DOPE.
Prophalantix kicked in at the very beginning to warm everyone up with some dope electro. Lo-Fi did a great set - too bad Blak isn't known as a rock venue, we coulda had a few more people represent - oh well. big ups to Mike Conradi and SpedFrek for the wicked wicked set. i would have danced my ass off if it weren't for that crazy bitch Erin hangin off my fuckin sleeve
Apathy tore it up in the side room with some bangin mashups. Sleazyline kept it proper with some decent breaks. Then Blizzy-pop and the Fuzzball played a flawless hardcore set that made everyone's ears bleed so bad they had to go into the other room Zeba and Kryptic closed 'er down with some funky bassline to round off a great night.
After a quick stop at the hotel, Bliz and I headed back home to grab a quick brekkie and watch some Robot Chicken before passing out. Sober and spent. What a long night.
Can't wait for the next one - got me all kinds of wicked old school electro records - and the crowd will be off the hook.

That was a good night!
Had a lot of fun at the TDSK party happy
Apathy killed it, it was awesome seeing that many people dancing to the stuff she plays.
Playing with the Bliz was fucking fun! And it proved the fact that I can play a lot better if I am sober.
Ok fine I had 3 beers tongue
Still I was sober!

What a GREAT party. Just getting out of bed with NO hangover!
So much shit happened at Throwdown I cant type it all out.
Propahlantix were a bit late getting on stage cause set up for the band took a while with sound check but man did Jesse and nate get everyone warmed up.
Toronto isnt ready for the likes of Lofi, as they clearly smashed everyone with in ear shot with the crazy lyrics and banging drums. KIller as always boys.
Mike Conradi and SpedFrek Were widely welcomed after the band was done, playing a thumping techno set!
Apathy is a rude girl with her awesome selections of Hardcore!
Easyline stole the main room party goers with his as always killer breaks set.
Fuzz and I rocked out some awesome and truly HARD-To_the_Core records with fast mixes and fresh flavor that hasnt been seen in Toronto's hardcore scene in ages.
And finally Canada's BASSLINE ambassadors Zeba and Keyptic tore a fucking hole in the side room with the fresh/hottest sounds that are sweeping England right now.
So after everyone got paid we went back to the hotel for a second where Nick decided to stay with Julian and Amy in their room while Julie and I rolled back to Hamilton for a warm bed and a hot breakfast. So overall it was a great night with litle to no drama. Big up all the ravers/clubbers and Hamilton people who came to support the likes of TDSK and Terror Inc. See you all at Ghetto Blaster April 25th in Hamilton at Club Absinthe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can HONESTLY say i had an awesome time [first time in awhile]
the music was awesome, the crowd was decent AND of age,
which was a nice change of pace.
no sketch, no drama, no shirtless etards dry humping on the couches... everyone was having a good, coherent time.
having a band play was definitely interesting, not something you see very often in toronto. the crowd seemed to dig it. it's cool to see promoters having the balls to do something different with their jams and bring in other talent even though they aren't electronic.
i caught chunks of apathys set, i love her hardcore and always have, it's nice to see her playing it out in toronto again, it's been too long. a chick playing hardcore? hot. the ONLY local chick that plays hardcore and hasn't sold out to something more widely liked? even hotter.
techno was awesome, DAN, IF YOU HAPPEN TO READ THIS: i REALLY enjoy the techno you're playing. i heard one of your mixes recently and it made me thrust inappropriately. i <3 hard techno.
fuzzboy and bliz did a STELLAR hardcore set, it was just a shame that they were up against breaks and funky stuff in the next room the entire time. they were awesome to watch play back to back, they looked like they were having fun playing together even if the room was empty, and thats what matters. probably my favorite fuzzboy set, to date.
i'm excited for ghettoblaster next month and to see how hamilton gets down in their OWN city. a lot of people from hamilton made the trip to support TDSK which was nice to see AND made for a seemingly less sketchy crowd than i've seen on other occassions at blak.
big ups to TDSK for not only throwing a party in TO, but a solid one at that.
