when i go raving i want good music after all isnt that what the rave is all about...
the big room had the same generic jungle sound the whole fucking time then came the theatrics which i thought was interesting but not what i was looking for.... the music that went along with all the bullshit was good but it lasted for like 5 minutes
fire dancing buddha lady was HAAAAAAAAAT
i enjoyed myself it was just a very very different kind of experience that i thought and this was my third together as one

Fuckin bangin bash!
Had to show for the last dance at the dockz. 5 stars, not based on how good the party actually was, but how much fun i had, and that was one of the funnest ive ever been to.
Amazing sets from Everfresh, Mystical, LTJ & Conrad, BSE, RITM, & Rogue Element. Spent a little time in every room which i'm really thankful for, got a little taste of everything. Black Sun Empire blew me away, gotta love the neuro steez. RITM was fuckin incredible, musically and visually. You just gotta keep an open mind. I went to the party for DnB and ended up groovin with glowstix for the first time in my life. Bigup the ell ess dee!

i had a great time... saw lots of good friends, and generally enjoyed the hell out of this party... it was intense on the brain
bse played a little light for my tastes, but they did an excellent job keeping me fixated on the tunes, the emcee's were solid, but should have backed off a bit for that set
ritm, well, i love that show. no complaints @ all, was happy to see it again.
only drawback to the event was that 'vip' was a fucking ripoff. i like my lanyard, but it wasnt worth an extra $40, and thats the only thing i got for the extra cash... there was no 'line bypass' , there was no 'vip bar'... comeon... follow through if your going to charge double...

RiTM was pretty weak. Visual wise it was interesting, but the stints were definately things ive seen before else where.
And how is a giant spider thing even remotely interesting. LOOK INT OTHE EYE? uhm, id rather look into my baby's eyes dancing to a dope set.
speaking of, RiTM was pretty lame musically.

The small room downstairs had some awesome sets all night.

shrugs, glad i didnt pay a million dollars for a sub-par docks/destiny party. since my first destiny, freakout, two years ago, every destiny party has been lower and lower in quality.
some sick sets tho.

let me start off by saying that I've been going to Destiny events since Destiny #3...now keeping that in mind...
the party was ok. not great. not super intense. no talking to god in the bathrooms or nothin. a far cry from the last time i was there, that's for sure. Rabbit in the Moon was pretty bland sound-wise but very stunning visually. call me crazy - i still like hearing a dope set over trippy lighting and pyrotechnics. at least i got a glow stick thingy thrown at me to light up the inside of my purse. 
the VIP sitch was super bullshit. i'd like to have a talk with someone over at Destiny about how we basically all paid a fortune for lanyards and laminates and nothing else. being on stage doesn't really cut it if there's no real VIP area. the "line bypass" on the way in was also bullshit considering the VIP was the ONLY LINE OUTSIDE. anyone else was just walking right in. awesome. so VIPs get to freeze. also - the layout of the place (what stairs, bathrooms, and doors were open to everyone), was basically a huge death trap and made it near impossible to get to anywhere without a giant detour. OPEN THE PLACE UP FOR FUCK'S SAKE!
all i can say is - i wasn't impressed. after WEMF this year, Destiny is proving that the Toronto rave scene has finally gone back down to shitty ghetto status (minus the wicked vibe we used to have), this last party at the Docks really pushed the nail in the coffin.
WHERE DID OUR PRECIOUS VIBE GO? only time will tell if we can bring that shit back. maybe we should all move to Europe. thank god I can afford to go every once in a while.

they captivated me, i was in awe, i couldnt keep my eyes off them.
i looked up to see a a mad scientist or something, i thought i was tripping out. it was amazing... it was actually unbelievable.

If it's possible, im pretty sure I had a musical orgasm!
Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but Rabbit in the Moon was fucking bomb! People can trash talk all they want about the music itself, but i've never seen such a live show, they just completely took the crowd! But i think they shoulda gone longer, it felt too short
The dnb was pretty sick, weirdly enough, i love alot of the newer mc's, Mystical influences set wasn't as good as usual, but still satisfying as always
I think the Docks will start up the rave scene again later on, because the rave scene is getting way better and they will be losing a ton of money.
Overall, BOMB PARTY!
Big ups to everyone there who made a sick partying environment

Loved LtJ Bukem and usually I can't stand mc's but Conrad I actually enjoyed
Rabbit in the Moon was obviously awesome, but would have liked to see something new in their show
Heard a bit of Czech's set and from what I heard it was great as usual
All the rest of the sets I heard pieces of I have no complaints about

Rabbit was pretty bad, the tracks would be good for about 30 seconds then turn crap for 10mins.
But other than that the party was great, Jelo, Dekoze, Black Sun Empire, D-Monic, Chzech, and the rest of the Breaks upstairs were amazing.
Sorry to see the Docks go, but all good things come to an end.

Possibly one of my favourite parties so far? Despite the fact that I arrived later on in the night...
Rabbit in the Moon?!!?!? Definitely not what I expected, I was right up there front and center and the performance was really intense.
I felt like I was at a concert - but with dancing room, which was awesome!
I didn't even mind the ghetto 'decorations' by the end of the night :p

Great jam last night!! As Jo says, the party is what you make it!
I showed up, not knowing whether or not I'd get in, as my Guestlist # hadn't showed up in my email. no problems at all, though, me n bry got right in. apparently they just hadn't got around to sending out the #'s for artists. No problems, planning parties is a stressful thing to do, and a lot of work.
Got in around 12, and straight to the bar, gotta get my draaank on haha. LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad: dope selection. I just wish the sound in the main room wasn't so weak. I mean, i could carry on a conversation with people standing two feet away... and still hear em. I digress. Dope selection, and some nice mixes. Wandered round the place a bit, checking out the different sounds, after absorbing some more LTJ n Conrad. Good friends, good music, good times! Caught a little bit of BSE, but while i was in there, i found that there was just too much MCing going on, and it was a little hard to hear the music, so I decided to head on up to the breaks room. The vibe in that room was alright. wasn't paying attention as to who was playing while i was up there, but it was good. Few more draaaaaaanks and I decided it was time for me to attempt getting back to liberation lounge for the set with dave. Caught the last few minutes of Lori's set, and i gotta say, she plays some nasty nasty beats! amazing! crowd was all over it, and she's a great DJ! Next, the 'Enygma' set went well, as always! we tore the place up. crowd was definately feelin our beats, plenty of rewinds, i thought we played a great set, overall! there's no better feeling than seeing a crowd explode when you play your own tunes! it's just an incredible feeling knowing that other people want to hear what you want to hear! MC JD on our set, always a good time when he's rockin the mic. man DEFINATELY knows a thing or two about crowd control. big up! Had to pull up a few of our tunes, i don't usually like to rewind, but the crowd was just full energy. I hope destiny will have me back for future events, this one was off the hook!! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO WAS THERE FOR OUR SET, YOU GUYS REALLY MADE THE SET FUN!
and to everyone who has told me we had the set of the night, a very big thank you, it means a lot!!!

attended last years Tas1, made sure I was gonna hit this one up.
and boy, did I ever.
best party I've been to in over a year. Gravy vibes, good company, everything just went superb.
Rabbits was sick, and the jungle/dnb room had me rinsing out non-stop.

I never heard any of Rabbit in the Moon's music so I went to their MySpace page to do so and quite frankly was really disappointed. I had no idea why an act with such mild music would be headliners. But after last night I understand!!! It's about the show, not just the music -- like Cirque du Soleil or something. Very nice.
What really surprised me is the DnB. Mystical Influence, who in my mind has been one of the top 3 Toronto DnB producers in the last decade played an absolutely horrible set. His selection was so boring it didn't belong even at an old folks home. Yet a relative unknown like DJ Jeph (Enygma?) absolutely ripped it up at the small room, dropping the hardest DnB beats of the night, which I later found out, he produced himself! If it's true, then this 24 year old (or 25?) produces world class tracks on par with all the big names from the UK. The only Toronto producers who are in the same league are Slip & Slide and Mystical (when you compare his best tracks such as Dub Plate Pressure). I hope this guy finds a way to get his music known because it is top notch.
Other highlights:
* Lori the Hi-Fi Princess with that slow yet really heavy techno
* the guy playing before her
* the breaks room at around 5am -- finally someone put -funky- breaks that make you wanna move instead of sit down. Oh by the way, another case of the headliner (DJ Czech) sucking ass and some unknown dude putting on the best show
* MC JD!!! the best MC in Toronto, bar none. Last time I heard him was at a Hullabaloo around 7 years ago... him being my favourite MC and being there was the cherry on the cake.
The negatives are that the headliners (except RitM) didn't deliver and the DnB, other than Jeph and the DJ who spun the ragga set at 5am was terrible. Who the fuck plays atmospheric DnB at a rave???

Come to think of it, when you're high the music sounds 10x better. I might have prematurely thrown too much praise at Jeph. Not to take anything away from him (he undoubtedly had the set of the night), but before I compare his music to Mystical's Dub Plate Pressure and to the legendary Slip & Slide, I gotta hear his music *sober* and I can't do that until his new stuff comes out.
Regardless of whether he is a "young genius" or just a "pretty good" producer, he is a friggen good DJ and any party should book him.

i wasnt used to going to the docks and not having all the rooms open also!
Rabbit of the Moon was INSAAAAAAAAANE !

I actually thought for the first time upstairs was really happening !

The jungle was SIC!!!!! like fuuucksakes! Danced non-stop.
And fucking Rabbit in the Moon AHAHAHA i was right at the front and that fucker was starring me right in the eyes SHIT SON. It was slightly traumatizing, but absolutely unforgettable and amazing at the same time!!!
This is a party i will NEVER forget!

rabbit in the moon blew my fucking mind. again.
there was so much amazing old school music at this party, with the hard acid trance, funky techno and just straight up bangin' dance tunes everywhere.
also the jungle room really can't be beat for vibe. i wonder if maybe that's where all our unity went! when you look across the room and see a sea of lighters, you know it's about unity. we have to rekindle that in the other scenes, i guess.
i will miss the docks for destiny parties  i hope somebody figures something out soon, instead of everybody retiring or something.

It was worth it just for Rabbit in the Moon alone, not to mention all of the other great music! I had a blast.

A lot of us have lost our home arena.
Jungle/Dnb was good all night, wish the sound was better when it got switched. Whats the deal with pineapple head.....Shit was fucked. Big up destiny, always good. KOTJ3 & WODNB soon.
