I am deeply disappointed with the way that you being the said promoter have handled this whole situation.

I have since emailed you several times, does it really have to come to this, for me to publicly leave you a message, seeing as you must have simply ignored all warnings previously emailed since this disaster of an event. No apology from you, nothing.

We stood by you, when on the Thursday before the event I was ready to cancel the Djs you had booked through us. Our Djs performed for you and YOU let them down, not forgetting all the other Djs / crews not associated with us.

You have received from me emails along with the out standing balance due, with warning of interest incurred if you failed to ignore the initial invoice being $1000-00, since you have not responded interest of 15% per day as warned for 'non payment'
has now reached $2'550-00 totalling the whole amount to $3'550-00. This is due now.

If you fail to pay this, then an international debt collection agency will be called in on our behalf to recover the full amount.

We left at midnight.
I wanted to stay, but I would have just had to leave by 1:30... so, 15$ for one hour of raving? no thanks.

Regardless of the low turnout and long waiting time, in the end the party was definately a success. I had a great time with awsome people, great music and an overall fantastic energy.

When the music stopped I didnt want to leave!

i'm an out of towner here 4 work and i'm glad i made it out to this.. stoked the ladies got 2 spin cuz that's who i went 4 so ima happy boy.. 4the time c-ing artemis.. she tears me up!! didn't even get 2 elmo till almost midnight neway so the wait was totally nbd.. this was my first party in toronto and i have 2 say i'm well pleased.. a little sad it wasn't what it could've been, but very happy 4 what it was.. mad props 4 still making it happen!!

All things considered, this was a fucking SICK party. Props go out to Ryan for putting this together-I remember back in December when Paul was telling me about this party and I had been waiting to go ever since. Things got a little bit switched up at the end with BLAK not meeting it's fire regulations and then the El Mocambo not letting anyone in for a while after clearing the Queens of The Stone Age... but for those who stayed/came out it was one of those nights... I even think the security guy working out front had a good time The mistresses were awesome-such nice girls too Psychedelic trance is where it is at... just pure magic. All in all it was an A- Night due to the factors out of the promoters control. So partied out right now!!!

Although I was a bit dissapointed that people didnt show up i had a good time listening to those phat rolling basslines of the psy!!! lots of dancing!

The one thing I wish Toronto would appreciate more is that you're going for the music. Warehouse parties, club parties, small bar parties - all can have trouble. The important thing is the music and the friendships at these things.

Malice put a lot of effort into the party, and beside the venue changed - and the party starting at 11+, the confusion and the hesitation of going I can say I am glad I did.


Mistresses of Mayhem KILLED it, and that is really who I wanted to see. Very friendly, nice girls, again phat basslines.

Well a lot of people got screwed and those people mean the
world 2 me, I am sorry for the timeslots and changing venues
put i had no choice we saved it at thwe last sec so we could
at least try 2 take care of people. I know i am one of the worst promotors around and i myself got srewed huge and owes alot of money.

I feel most for the people who came down from out of town
who couldn't get paid and every other dj and person who was
there.

I will book a make up gig for the people who didn't play then
i really think i am finished, i can't go through that again and doing that 2 people

dubcomm was killer! a lil softer than usual ("hey, this sounds like music" ) but he did have the excuse of opening it's an honour to follow him up!

despite all concerns, lucy and i got our freak on and played a wicked set! it's great to see the psy kids enjoying the dnb

artemis and jade, you two are lovely. i'm sorry we didn't get to hear more of your set, but i do hope you come back to toronto again soon!

all said and done, elmo is practically the WORST venue in the city to work with, there are always issues with time. the best was made of the situation, and we got to hear some fucking wicked music!

alot of waiting with the boys outside...
eventually i gave up and went in and got the ball rolling on this event because at 1130 it wasnt even open or looking good.

eventually opened..
Dubcomm, well i need say no more, opening set at 1215, but KILLED IT. sadly the sound system in there was being wack with feedback so i withdrew myself from the microphone, and he just killed it from there on in!!
so big the fuck up on that one Ty!
the ladies..Ms Ford and Ms Lee..MURDAH!
didnt stay for much more than that tho, but it was dopeness in effect, you know us rockstars, we need our sleep.

This party COULD have been much more, however i think some instruction and guidance was needed if this was the first event being thrown by the promoter at hand.

either way ATLEAST IT HAPPENED SO KEEP THE BITCHING TO A MINIMUM. but i feel for the outta towners, if you only knew it got moved.:

(it gets 5 stars cuz the jungle sets were DUTTY! just wish i could have hosted em proper, and it also gets points for Fuzzboy's splits!!!)

thanx for letting us know AHEAD of time that the venue was changed!!we drove allllll the way from london to toronto just go get extermely disappointed that the venue on bathurst street was closed down due to fire regulation violation!!
