I was there periodically between the time we cleared out of the kathedral until blak got shut down... the crowd was pretty damn thin by 11, I can't believe how long some kids kept moving

I got a chance to remove my kandi dress down to my camo which was a relief after a long night of rave 12+ hours of rave is a lot!

Awesome music. Really cool venue. But by that time in the morning I was already so burned out I wasn't able to do anything but stand around and listen. So I left fairly quickly.

i liked it no complaints, sometimes the venue looks nasty frum the outside but dont judge a book by its cover ;p

plus who cares about the look, the music was bomb and people were chillin.

got there after seeing the Boomtang Boys across the street at the bigbop..

I love Blak. honestly, this venue is what the scene needed.
scared of back alleys.. please go watch a rave movie and realize that raves used to be illegal and underground and hidden from the public..
if you actually came inside, you'd know that blak is very nicely decorated.. has some awesome bus-staff.. a sexy and cool bartender.. lots of comfy new couches.. not sleazy torn up ones you find at most rave venues..

if you were coming from across the steet at the bop.. you'd have come in time to hear some awesome tunes.. GRIMACE.. the man is a legend.. played a wicked set..so many genres.. so many classic..so many sing-alongs..so much dance-your-ass-off tunes.. and later on..

locked n scartat killed it.. wobble [blegh], jump up.. old school.. dark.. mmm mmmm goodness.. and Locked's dubz.. seriously guys. look out for this guy's records soontimes

and at the same time in the back room was fuzzboy.. oh man was i torn.. running between rooms.. lol.. wicked set.. from cheese to harder stuff.. anthems .. RAAAVE!!

after that.. capital j. wow. i haven't seen that man so into it ever.. mash up of so many different types of dnb.. plus originals.. this is one time i can actually say that he wasn't just appealing to ktarded junglists joking .. he has set of the night for me... i just wish it wasn't at 5 in the morning. i would have likes to dance but my feeeet hurt so much

left at seven am..and the rooms were both STILL RAMMED. amazing.. i never expected SO MANY people to show up.

just a note though. girls... djs and mcs are just humans..outside of the club.. they are regular people just like you and me... it's cool to love their music and their sets.. but honestly. they're not celebrities.. don't throw yourselves onto them like rabbits.. it's not exactly respectable to hit on/makeout/sleepwith/try to sleep with multiple people in the span of a few hours... djs and mcs are no exception,... though i hafta say it's kinda funny watching my bf turn down girls... who are then consecutively turned down by other djs/mc/performers.... just cause someone is on a stage..does NOT mean they wanna sleep with lil kids.......well in most cases anyways

anyways.. aside from pretty much EVERYTHING going wrong that CULD go wrong (BEFORe and DURING this event).. this was a great party!!!! CAPITAL J WHA!!!
+ surprise sets by FREEDOM DANISH from halifax and D-MONIC vs BIGS what!??? LOL!! Even Caddy Cad was there!
I culdnt see a single thing wrong with this event aside from all the BS i had t do/deal with.. lol! but.. thats NEW YEARS FORYA!


JAN 4th / 5th - BLAK is BACK... (if we can do all the repairs needed in time.. lol!)

I had a lot of fun. Grimace played some awesome tunes and Locked and I got a great crowd reaction Some people were kinda dumb and fail at taking hints, but ah well Overall I'd say good job.

well, my review of this offical after party that was included in the price i paid for the desteny event was a fuckn joke

ill never go back there no matter what, it was COMPLETLY desgusting !? no exagerations here people, i left destenation at about 4am got to black at about 430am to be led down a rapes r us ally way that led me to a bunch of extremly cracked out people that totally made me ill, then im shown a fuckn back yard gate with a had written sign that says "black" i pear down this ally way to see it coverd in brrown murky water, garbage pilled all along the side of the wall and people walking all over me, i took a good look around me and walked away completly fuckn dissapointed.
black is fuckn gross

good job christian.....
never again.
ive completly lost faith in raves
all anybody cares about is getting fuckn high its suppostu be about chilln and bustn moves and most importantly its about enjoying the music!!!
rember that to all you who see parties as just a place to get high, you are reuning it for the others you look gross
