Wow....for a party that I walked into expecting to want to leave early and go to bed....sure did spin my attitude around!!!

Locked killed that shit with his completely HUUGGGEEE original sound! if you cant tell its his tracks ear fucking you, then you are there for the wrong reasons and have no reason being there!

THe music was GREAT all round.
even I danced to some Jungle!
I always like playing before elixer he takes it from there and goes to the sky.
I had to leave early but I made sure to Catch Bacchus and Conradi. Some very Funky Breaks and electro!

Awesome, awesome party - even though I only stayed a few hours! I was really impressed!!!
Blak is a nice venue, really comfy and intimate, which I enjoy. I was sooo lucky to have arrived just before LOCKED came on - once again my friend, you made the night.
Thanks to Christian for letting me in, Mensa & Locked for being amazing, and everyone else for making it a generally nice crowd :]

music was ON POINT!!!!
this is a big to everyone that says jump up sucks!! 
honestly tho, MISS BLYSS started off dropping some classic, classic tunes. the kind of tunes I used to hear playing there when it was bassmint, how fitting!
LOCKED & ERBALIST turned things up a notch, a lot of people kept asking me "hey...i don't recognize this, this is killer, did THEY make that?!?"
over in the second room, HEXAGON tore Blak a new one with some seriously heavy techno (and that's a big compliment coming from me, lol).
up next was MONOPHONIC (errr Michael Saunders? haha). there's a reason I believe this dude is ahead of the pack, he brings the funk!!
ELIXIR took things over from there with a flawless, energetic set of bangers
fast forward back to the main room...DJ SPINZ is truly a great performer. if you sit down and listen to a set of his in its entirety you can tell he sculpts it into a specific shape and really builds it until you come to the last 20 minutes or so and he's just wilding out. Very climactic.
J is just J. nuff said!! he ripped it with the set of the night. Very fucking cool to hear him dropping some Locked originals in his sets! VIP DUBZ DADDY
The boys from Prolifik kept things going for the next two hours. Seriously KAPULET, SHANK and A3, you guys did a hell of a job keeping the place bumpin til almost the very end!! Lots of dope hip hop remixes, classic throwbacks and fresh new bangers
over in the other room MIKE CONRADI and BACCHUS dropped a flawless 2 hour journey to the bottomless pits that are their record crates! Fantastic mix of music by these two and of course their stage presence is killer as always
THE BLOODY TAMPONS closed off the second room with some more headbangin' techno that definitely kept the crowd around as long as they would let them!!
SCARTAT wrapped things up with an impromptu mini-set. heheh "yeaaa sure, just play one tune Rob"
As far as hosting, MENSA, LUCKS, JAPHY...there's a reason you guys are almost the only people we book to hit the mic. good show boys!!

Great Time!
the Main Room was certainly ontop of the tunes
for what little time I spent in there.
The crowd was upbeat, and there was a comfortable feeling to the whole of the venue... which always starts with the crowd.
The other room was rarely occupied by more than a dozen heads that lasted on the dancefloor... but there was always a flow of visitors taking in the change of scenery from outside or the main room. It made for a good feel.
Deffinitely had a few people of the floor rocking it out proper...
some with a passion for the tunes, some with a slick set of moves.
I found the gauntlet through the alley to the alley to always be jokes and filled with faces that made it a good place to be.
All in all... it looks to be a good night.
Plan to hit it if you have not already...
tell your friends if you were there last night.
Can only get better!
