First time I ever went to this thing. Didn't know anybody there but I still had a blast! Some girl was chasing my buddy and he ran across the street and the girl chased him.
I yelled out "no j-walking!!"
...
and about 2 seconds later.. a cop car almost SMOKES her! People gotta be careful with that shit or this event's not gonna last much longer!

thanks to everyone wearing green, and to everyone who bought the glowsticks. I was downright boggled at how many people showed up despite the cold. the high/lowligh of the evening was the dude on university geting Pwnd from behind by a 1992 toyota camry, brakes squealing. totally the runner's fault. spent the rest of the game on skates refereeing around the blue flag, where the guy got hit, stopping people from trying to make plays through traffic southwest of university, OUTSIDE the designated game zone (i.e. out of MFing bounds). at any rate, things ended up working out okay. another great moment was someone pulling up to the blue flag in a taxi, only to discover it wasn't there. nice teamwork, guys.
anyways, I'll definitely be on the SPARTAN GREEN team again next time around, it's frankly a rewarding experience.
