Love the venue...
An alright party overall...
I dunno something special was missing... not really sure what.
The people I came with [we're from Ottawa] made up for the missing something special...
Honestly though... WTF is with Destiny and anally raping the Hardcore room every fucking time. I spent a lot of time in there... partly because I really like hardcore... and partly because I had some work to do in there.
But wtf... just once can we have a decent-good set up of the hardcore room instead of a closet with no deco?
If it's goodfellaz that's being lazy then fine... kick them into working harder... if it's you guys... do better!

Awesome birthday rave!
Some good friends and myself took a limo to it. The rave really started in the limo for us! We all had an amazing time! Hands down, Destiny always throws the best parties!

destiny was pretty sick i must say!
although i lost my phone and some crackheads decided to fuck around answering it and talking shit..
i had fun being all moshed and dancing on stage,
having people cheer for costumes and shit.
i definitely wasn't "a skanky kid in underwear" though, thanks.
it was a much better night than hype.
it was such a relief to not have to wait half an hour to get outside for fresh air. jesus.
i enjoyed the sets, but really i was too high to fully absorb what was happening lol.

The brand new Docks is definitely something to behold! The only down side that I could see to it was the fact that the place was sound proof. This meant that within a few minutes everybody inside was deaf!
Aside from this, the party was absolutely awesome! The laser lights were phenomenal!!
Surprisingly the HHC was too much for even me?! But the D'n'B was awe inspiring. When Sam Punk started spinning the place went nuts and I went nuts with them! The man's set seemed to never end. It just got better and better as time passed!
Freakout was just a mint party!

I had a good time overall. I was sad that I missed the beat freakers but I made up for it in the breaks room. I basically stayed there the whole night. It was perfect because the music was wicked, there was room to dance, there were couches to sit on and you could step outside easily to get some air. Dmonic threw down a few really funky tracks that got the whole room dancing.
I like partying on halloween because its fun to check out everyone's costumes. I was impressed by the decor destiny set up. Not too shabby!
Oh and I was dressed as a lumberjack. The fake beard I had on got damn hot though and it had to come off for periods throughout the night.
I was pretty impressed by the new layout of the docks (sound academy). The sounds is contained in each room better now compared to the past. Also, there's a bar in each room and there are couches to sit on. I think the last time I was at the docks was probably for stababaloo and I vowed never to return. Well I'm glad I gave it another chance.
Well thats my review. Now I'll just go back into retirement for another 6 months or so....

errrmmm, well i lost my purse on the way to the hotel, with all my money, id, "etc" in it. HORRIBLE. i couldn't drink inside because i didn't have my driver's licence.
we got there late so i missed tempest vs. xphox....i ALWAYS miss them. never fails.
buuttt, i did have fun. most of my friends left early due to sore feet and the like...
i wish there had been more hardstyle and less jungle/dnb.
props to the docks for not letting it get too packed/too hot!!

this party really dissapointed me, which was surprising cause usually destiny parties are bangin
wasnt even there long enough to buy a water, no substances taken though
security was anything but legit, and i noticed a reasonably high amount of fake shit unfortunatly 2 different sets of friends bought some from some piece of shit
everywhere i went all i could smell was vomit
BUT partied with friends i needed to see which made it all okay

it was really good the party was fun but i danced alot less at this rave then any other one i wish i knew why mybe it was because they didnt have enough hard style and hardcore to keep me pumped but i had an awesome time as usual and i thought they only had 3 rooms for most of the nite untill around 4 i walked into the 4th room where they were playing some really soft music it kinda sounded like reggae but it had couches which was kewl it was right next to the entrance but anyways as usually killer time i hope to see the peoepl i met there again real soon at TRR 2 i was the shitty kissing booth

Music and People were awesome.. met some new people.. was great.
Not the organization of the party and the venue itself it horrible. We bought VIP tickets that cost $30 more, and the VIP area was closed down because of too many people (most of which DID NOT have VIP passes).. never again buying VIP to destiny parties. This is twice it happened now. I think they purposly oversell them.
Second problem, Im 24 years old and i was not able to buy alcohol because they ran out of wrist bands. I had all kinds of ID with me, but stilll i was refused access to drinking area. This is just STUPID.
With all the hype around Dock's sound system, the music quality especially in the main room was very poor.

The music wasn't everything i hoped for, i was complelty stoked for the hxc room, & was sadly disapointed with the line up.
the d&b however surprised me =]
i didnt stay as long as i hoped but imagine that a rave got too crowded lol.
But all in all hte rave was still pretty BALLIN.

I think it's Monday and I just woke up.
All I can say is-
Drugs+Hotties+DrumnBass=Horny Roxii n tons of fun!
I never get up to Toronto but I'll be back again for New Year's 2008 party.
The clown car pile up afterwards wasprobably as much fun as Destiny itself.
Plus Erik's lap was thoroughly enjoyable<3

upside:
-dancin' to grooverider after having not seen him for 8 years
-loved that the breaks were in a 19+ area
-room to dance in the breaks room!
-the volume in the hardcore room was pretty good!
downside:
-the lack of volume in the main room! where it mattered to me!
-the amount of sketch that entire party was! i was disgusted
-i lasted 3 hours, and got bored. was home by 2:30
to all the youngin's i saw out of their trees!

I thought it would be a lot better then it was for the price of the ticket and all the hype around it, but that being said i still had an awesome time in all the rooms
HHC room took a while to get good, jungle room was fukin awesome EXCEPT for all the damn ppl standin up in the front not doing ANYTHING (give ppl room to actually dance so we don't have to dance on the carpet in the area where ppl need to walk around) and trance room was alright, at the beginning it was better b/c it was more industrialish
Gettin there was frikin hell tho. holy shit the stupid bus that runs down there stops at 7:30pm what kinda shit is that?

and a lot of people got sick.
I agree with everyone saying they pumped them selves up too much.

should NEVER have moved the jungle to the back room
they didn't have the upstairs open, which was pretty much the best part of the party for the past few years
and it was too crowded
clearly because they should have had upstairs open
remember how last year they had that booth where people could get their picture taken?
i didn't see that this year
