you put up with a lot of shit..and still managed to throw a great event
scartat n jeph were awesome..
and i cought a few minutes of timmy as well..
lotsa wobble... but that was to be expected..
main complaint: holy fucking amounts of mcs. sometimes people need to shut up and get off the stage.. or at least put the volume down so i can HEAR THE MUSIC over the fast talking crap... [note: this is not to all the mcs that night.. just some]
not a fan of the new renovations to the funhaus..but what can ya do? nothin.

Well done party, great vibe, absolutely oustanding sets from Locked, Station, and Sc@r b2b Uplift (and I'm sure Jeph and Scartat rocked it but of course I missed it because I was on at the same time as them because I ALWAYS am  ). Was very happy with my set as well, much respect to the hardcore kids who rocked it out at 3AM in the back room.
Missy and Jess put on a great event and handled things well all night, it was a joy to be a part of this event.

1. so sketchy......well first of all iam always sketchy!
2. pissed cause we just started to play and then we got shut down, so i was pissed that we only played for 15 min, and for the fact the "missy" was being like iam really sorry.....really guys. NO U WERENT!! u didnt give a fuck!!! u just wanted to go home. but whatever, thanks jess for letting us play and i hope to play again for you one day.
but besides that i didnt find security to be that bad, except for duddly do-right the one that look like he was tryin too hard to be an cop. You know the small guy running around with an ear piece and the full security suit! everytime i saw him i fuckin laughed...jokes. Fuck if he got in my face i would have knocked him outt!

All i have to say is funhaus is a bomb venue. For those who havent noticed, its the perfect place to hold any event, depending on how it's set up. There definetely should be a rule to not bring drinks to the middle of the dance floor, i felt like most of the time i couldn't go full out dancing. Other than that minor issue, the entire night was bomb, and whoever talks shit about funhaus security should get their balls stapled to a stack of paper. All of my "requirements" of what a good rave shud be were fulfilled

changes made to the fun haus since the last time i have been there, are GREAT. the back room is soooooo much better!

honestly, I never pay much attention to which Djs are playing when
(unless I already know them and like them)
but whoever was spinning in the main room about midnight till two, was the best sets I heard of the night! I never danced so hard for so long!
Thanks so much to jess for getting our friends on the reduced list!
getting to the club an hour early pays off!
best party I've been too at the Funhuse, I was extremely disapointed we had to leave early << :'( and miss Dynamic's set :'( >> but my friend was sick .
I agree with everyone about the slippery floors, there should be some way to avoid it.
Can't wait till the next one!

This party is one of the most professionally handled parties i have ever been booked for, thank you jess and missy!
for those of you kids that are complaining about being booked for drinking under age or drugs, go fuck yourself! you are the kids that ruin these parties all the time, and wouldn't you know it, you are always the same 17 year olds that are the ones complaining! start going to punk shows and leave this scene if you hate it so bloody much!!!
as for the sets:
LOCKED! this man started the party off right, so for those that say it started of weak, all i have to say is throw ya dukes!

Probably the most stressing night I've ever had while throwing an event. The reasons I won't mention. But.. the event was a complete success.
I'll write more later.

UNDERAGE DRINKING = ILLEGAL
DRUGS = ILLEGAL
It's the law.
SECURITY GUARDS ARE DOING THEIR JOBS, & DOING IT RIGHT.
So try not to take it out on the venue or the promoters.

The real mystery of this incredible night is... why did they close early? Why was the guy with the chain so sketchy and so pissed? Why didn't dj Yoshimoto finish his set and had to leave 5 mins after he started? However... he didnt ask no questions when the security explained to him the situation... the question is... WHAT situation? Salute 21 true ravers!!!

I think that the funhaus is a great venue
much better than the big bop.
The night in my opinion went well
Although there was far too many mc's.
Just because an "mc" walks into a party does not mean they deserve to be on the mic if they are not on the lineup.
Sc@r and Uplift was definitely my favourite set of the night
All the sets I heard in the back room were great.

Wikkid Good Times. SO MUCH FUN!
Got there while Saigon and Maniak were spinning. Hadn't seen maniak before, but she's pretty cool - didn't catch the whole set though Always good to see Saigon.
KingPin is lots of fun to watch, and sounds great.
Jeph and Scartat have an AWESOME sound.... miss guitars! they brought 'em out!
But my FAV had to have been YOSHiMOJO, i've seen him play at a couple of parties, and this was (in my opinion) his best. Busting out KILLER TUNES! Can't wait to catch him at Bruck Out. <3
(was reading other reviews, I didn't notice the floor being slippery, must have been in the back room)

Yeah the funhause is custy, and the security garuds are all pricks there, but really everyone knows that. In my opion they wern't that bad this tyme. Just don't do stupid shit, and you won't get kicked out.
The party was alot better than I thought it was going to be actually, The MC's in the dnb room and the music was so good. Saw enuff friends, had a great time. It was a purdy alrite rave. Way to many sketchies and creepers tho.

i was not expecting an amazing jam but i was actually very surprised. the jungular activity was live with sick beats. true, the floors were slippery and i almost crack my head and few others a couple times but hey,you fall down and make it look like you did it on purpose, i saw it as an opportunity to learne breakdancing. i saw everyone trying to play it off cool. sick party. impressed with the fun haus for my first time there

This only gets 3 stars cause the venue was custy, lotta prostitats, and mad slippery dancefloors and it was HOT AS FUCK but the music was bitchin and that's all you really need so I got my groove on !!!

I was talking to Rich whos one of the guys thats part of the sound crew production or whatever, and he said that the new owners have seemed to disappear, so to whom ever said that the new owners blow, i believe that isnt the case.
I realized last night that i really dislike the raves that are thrown at the fun haus; used to be so much better back when i first started raving 2 years ago.
They're kind of lame to be honest.
The music started off really shitty,
got into it eventually but ended up leaving at around 1 anyways.
I enjoyed the music in the back room more than anything.
Wasn't the best rave ive been to though, thats for damn sure.
The one downfall was the fact that the floors were beyond slippery, making it very difficult to dance properly.
Kind of aggravating if you ask me.
BUT..i still managed to have fun considering i was able to see a lot of old friends. =)

Well i definately had an awesome time, untill the very end when I realised my sweater was gone.
If anyone took it by accident, or even on purpose, i would really seriously appreciate it if you gave it back.
It is my favourite sweater and I really don't know what I am going to do without it.

ahh rinsing all night.. i stayed till the end and the dnb was great night. not to big on the funhaus though but the vibe was good and everyone was happy. yoshi mojo's set was CRAZY!!!

i got there at like 10? A little earlier maybe.
At first I was really disappointed. I was really tired anyway, so I didn't come in with a good light which may have been a problem--
And then this security guard kicked out my friend almost right away, but I couldn't leave to go get him since I was with my other friends (and ride) which was really shitty :|
Also I kept on being in the middle of dancing when suddenly the set would STOP in midbeat which left me in midair going "what the fuck?" and it would start on something totallllly different after like 5 seconds which just frustrated me a bit.
The music started out meh... Got better at the night went on though- left at 2. The backroom was really slow stuff when I was there, good for chill.
One big problem was how slippery the floors were
I think there should be some rule against bringing open water/beer glasses onto the dance floor because then they just get spilled and no one can dance (I tripped twice >/)
And the backroom it was impossible to do anything but like skate around. Meh.
It was okay overall... Saw some cool lightshows and met some nice people

Good job guys. It was so awesome to see a dnb crowd that actually appreciated dnb, not just high kids who love wobble. Made the set with JePh an absolute blast to play, so I thank you all. Was also nice to hear Kingpin play a bigger party. That man has amazing talent, and is pretty much the only jungle set I've heard at an all ages jungle party in years.
Only complaints would be that ti sounds like the Funhaus hasn't been taking very good care of their sound equipment, cause the quality was kinda shitty, and the MC circle jerk that was going on when I walked in the door was kinda sorta really annoying. Guys, just because you may be an MC doesn't mean you HAVE to grab the mic at every party you go to. Was quite happy that it got under control by JePh and I's set

haven't been to fun haus for a long time but it was worth going back for the grand reopening ... RIPED up the dance floor but was too slick some places later in the night it got nicer and nicer im sore once again but well worth it partying with all my friends
ran into this girl hearing this song on the jungle side spilt her new drink all over me and her but i got her a new one .... ( srry again if you ever read this) turns out her bf mc and he was just sick, mad ups, had fun with the ladies on the floor dancing and watchin them learn to liquid lol good times then got some nice pics of me lettin loose at the end of the night ..... (tim i want them pics) im sooo beat once agian
all and all a crazy good night wet tshirt and all
